in .30cal yes? but in .22 can afford to go far around 500yards in impact?

Rob goblin it would be much harder to shoot a .22 to 500 yards. With slugs I believe it’s possible but a .30 slug would have a much higher ballistic coefficient I’m pretty sure

Got a first gen Impact .25 that is an absolute laser that I'm selling... Guns MOA or better with 33.95s and shoots NSA 37s lights out. Guns shooting consistently MOA of better at a 100y indoor range so it's capable of what the shooters capable of in the wind... Selling it for a good price with optic (Midas Tac, excellent optic)... You’re lucky . Where I live in Illinois there’s really no hunting and they won’t let you shoot without anything but .177 .

Check out the .25 cal gauntlet. Pretty good for entry level. Just upgrade the bottle

Some of those cheap pcps are getting impressive. A guy at the local range had a air venturi avenger he just purcahsed and was really impressed with it. This is a guy that has a tuck load of pricey guns. Fx crown, fx dreamline in a $650 chassis, daystate target rifle, bsa ultra (honestly this list can go for awhile lol). Heck even the benjamin discovery is fine for knocking down squirrels and rabbits.

Alessandro Faé a lot of people have cut the last 1/2 of the barre of because the chokes don’t work well on that barrel. Besides tht I would recommend a lapping compound and polishing the barrel really well.

Guns and projectiles are getting good enough that this shot won't stand long... Likely they will break it before very long. My MKII 700mm slug liner .22 and NSA 24.8s was smoking soda cans at 300y on Sat and hitting them with consistency... 300y isn't much a challange now days... The guns are totally capable of putting lead where you want it at 300 now. When it was calm I connected 14 out of 20 shots. We shot some milk jugs at 300 as well and i connected 3 in a row and shot 2 more at the last one (5 shots, 5 hits on milk jugs at 300y).. Smoked a couple cans at 300 with my RAW .357 as well... I was hitting with it about 70% of the time but that was later in the day as well and more wind to deal with and stirring winds at that. Hubby only shot his new .35 Impact and was focused on getting it dialed... So far its showing wicked potential at 200y grouping extremely well.. Will be stretching its legs come this weekend and ill be shooting mine and getting it dialed as well... Mines getting some Pink treatment as we speak or i would have been focused on mine as well haven't even shot mine yet :-(
