so proud of you sing Japanese National Anthem on 13,000 sq.m. stage.. fancam • 2018.5.24 鈴木愛理さんによる国家独唱 • 鈴木愛理 国歌斉唱 東京ドーム • 愛理国歌斉唱 and J Sport 2 Edit by KristRodkum
yep the lyrics are just one long sentence. :D _Emperor, may your reign continue for a thousand, eight thousand generations, until the tiny pebbles grow into massive boulders, lush with moss_
According to wikipedia it was based on British national anthem "God save the queen". Japan did not have the concept of national anthem, it was an Irish military officer suggested to create one.
Fun Fact: The Japanese Anthem is about 1000 years old and was written in Japanese that Japanese people doesn't usually use anymore. The Anthem was originally a song that referred to a loved one, meaning Japan is the nation we love.
Lol and the us national anthem isn’t ? Lol can one sing it ? Yes, but on note not so much. Most people sound like chickens attempting to sing it, as With most national anthems.
@@emperorjgaming2266 The song means nothing more than long live Japan, "May the reign of Japan last ten thousand years, until the pebbles grow into boulders, lush with moss", etc
This is how your supposed to sing your country’s national anthem. In America, all of these singers try to put some dumb twist on it when it’s just not needed.
Those pop singers should stay on their profession, leave it to the crowd to actually sing it, though i havent seen any recent videos on that so im not sure
it's almost like the cultures behind the countries are completely different so their anthems carry a different feeling and history, so they are sung differently based on that. what a fucking weird concept.
English Translation: May the reign of the Emperor continue for a thousand, nay, eight thousand generations and for the eternity that it takes for small pebbles to grow into a great rock and become covered with moss.
It translates into: Kamigayo - His Imperial Majesty's Reign Kimigayo wa chiyo ni- May your Reign continue for a thousand. Yachiyo ni sazare ichi no- Nay, eight thousand generations, until, the tiny pebbles , Iwao to narite koke no musu made - Grow into mighty boulders lush with moss.
Okinawan people do not like Kimigayo. When the US military invaded Okinawa, the Japanese government sent out false information that US forces tortured or killed the Okinawan people, causing the frightened Okinawans to commit suicide. A famous Japanese singer, Amuro Nami, was threatened by many Japanese people because she didn't stand up when Kimigayo flowed out. She is from Okinawa
Do you know what I like the most? A ton of respect and admiration from all around the world, yet hardly any Japanese bragging of “we are the best” “we are proud...” That makes one respect it even more...
Most nations anthems have this distinct "anthem" sound/melody. The Japanese is the only one that actually dont sound like an anthem but a summary of their entire Culture. You dont understand their words but you can feel the whole history of their happiness, victories and tragedies.
I did not understand a sing word but the emotion of her words touched my heart. Thank you. This is the first time I have ever heard the Japanese national anthem in a long life.
ハルバーソン魁 I know what you mean I fell like and I’m not trying to be offensive I’m just saying from what I’ve observed that Koreans have shiny doll faces.
Every song from Japan is so great including their National Anthem, it sounds so Melancholic event though it's short it clearly states the history of The Rising Sun/Japan, I love everything about Japan including Animes to everything Love from Philippines 🇵🇭
I've visited Japan 5 times now (and will continue to), and for some reason I feel a strange national pride for it. Everytime I'm back in the country It just feels so familiar and homely, so many things I get to experience again that I miss dearly once I go back to the US. I know you have your problems Japan but I fucking love you.
*I think it's one of the best anthems of all time, the shortnes makes it even better. Thats what Japan is about, to be in a short period of time finished but with perfection 🇦🇹❤️🇯🇵*
I am nor japanese nor do I understand thier language but the anthem feels like its time for sunrise and I should wake up now. Japan truly is the land of the rising sun
Sung by a beautiful and talented individual who made those present proud. I am not Japanese, but i had a lump in my throat when she sang the anthem. Bravo!!
This makes me feel like a samurai waking up, putting his armor on, getting ready to head out to fight 1000 warriors with no backup, and still feeling no fear that I might lose. lol
So clean clear and pure, like being on a glacier and watching the water flow into a river running through a valley somewhere in Japan....during the spring.
My deepest condolences. Thoughts and prayers to Shinzo Abe's family and friends, my thoughts are with all of japan, as its being announced he has succumbed to his injuries. RIP Shinzo Abe.
