Probably no bhp increase, as the new filter location is further back into the engine bay, where it is hotter. The "cold air" tube is not directly feeding the cone filter enough with this set up and probably offers little to no improvement. However the freer airflow into the engine (whether hot or cold air) can make the car rev a little faster and can therefore slightly increase throttle responsiveness. The main 'benefit' of this set up however is really only the change in sound.
Will this work in 1.2 Litre Swift Indian version? I mean i have seen a guy installed in Diesel variant and got his engine almost seized. Will it be compatible with 1.2 petrol swift?
hi i have sport swift too but i have bought the car with missing box there is after the original air filter is this a problem this things that you removed but only after the box there is above the engine the smaller box and the pipes that goes below

Not really, it’s getting cool air from the intake pipe that’s directed to the filter, and guess where the stock airbox sits…. Over the exhaust manifold.

Een vraagje, ik heb nu ook een aanzuigbuis en open filter op mijn swift 1.5. Ik weet niet wat ik fout heb gedaan maar 1e keer starten na montage stottert mijn auto heel erg als hij stationair loopt en dat doet hij continu... ook heb ik veel vermogens verlies boven 3000 rpm. Weet je misschien waar het door komt? Luchtmassameter is denk ik als het goed is nog goed. Heb hem uit laten lezen. Ik heb geen slang om verse lucht aan te zuigen, zou het daar misschien door komen?
Heel vreemd, ik denk toch dat het je luchtmassameter is die de problemen veroorzaakt. Dit heb ik gevonden op een forum voor je: Mogelijke oorzaken defecte luchtmassa meter: Als de luchtmassa meter stuk of vervuild is word er een verkeerde waarde afgegeven, en dus een verkeerd mengsel van lucht en brandstof. Hierdoor kunnen de volgende problemen ontstaan. Slecht stationair toerental, Verlies in vermogen of inhouden tijden het wegrijden. Ook door het uitlezen van de ECU kan natuurlijk gekeken worden of de luchtmassameter problemen vertoond.
hi Jorius Ik wilde alleen maar weten of u verbinding met de sonde je maar in je video fix net na de hoorn en als hij en die bij de toelating kit om jaimerai op welke website u de kit heeft weten te vinden toelating davance dank je :)
@@angelcastellanosmartinez2412 - That's not correct. Increased responsiveness merely means the car potentially reaches higher RPMs a little quicker. That may increase acceleration (very little if at all with this set up, as the cold air tube is not directly feeding the cone filter) but it will *not* increase the maximum power the car makes, merely how quickly it reaches that power. Thus, top speed is not increased.
the way this is installed, I am woried you're feeding warmer air to the engine... but you have a filter with an easier flow so it might compensate. Maybe you should custom build an air box to ensure only fresh air from outside the engine bay is fed to engine
@@alekos911 - Well said. That's exactly what's needed here. The cone filter *will* allow the car to breath easier but that "cold air" pipe is not positioned anywhere near directly enough to truly feed the filter with cold air. It's really doing nothing. A true, enclosed CAI is needed to directly feed the filter to claim any sort of performance increase.
@@Psycho-Timbo the box yes butt the feed pipe to the stock airbox is right side with a funnel in de bumper sucking coltnair. Ur the one that does not knows where ur talking about haha. The cheap k n shit kit sucks air from the hot engine bay 🤣
