अगर आप घर के अंदर मोरपंखी पौधा लगाते हैं तो इसे हमेशा उत्तर दिशा की ओर ही करके लगाएं. ऐसे स्थान पर रखें, जहां इस पौधे पर धूप लग सके, क्योंकि तभी इसका विकास ठीक से हो पाएगा. शास्त्र के अनुसार मोरपंखी का पौधा सूख जाए तो तुरंत दूसरा मोरपंखी का पौधा लगा देना चाहिए.
मिट्टी को स्प्रे पम्प की मदद से फब्बारे के रूप में पानी दें, ताकि मिट्टी नम हो जाए। छिले भाग हुए भरी हुई मिट्टी का ग्लास या डिब्बा को आंशिक धूप वाले स्थान पर रखें। छिला हुआ भाग में जड़ आने तक मिट्टी में समान रूप से नमी बनाए रखना सुनिश्चित करें। पौधे की किस्म और छिले हुए भाग के अनुसार लगभग 15-45 दिन के अन्दर छिले हुए भाग में नई ग्रोथ दिखना शुरू हो जाएगी।
