how I installed my AirLift WirelessOne 25980 EZ on my 2020 Tundra Platinum...paired with Firestone Ride Rite airbags (model 2445)...mounted it differently than I've seen before and it worked out great!

Good video. You should add some mylar liner to your garage ceiling for better insulation and it cleans up the look of the exposed insulation. Your 2020 TP shirt is rad!

Thank you!!...yea that ceiling has always driven me nuts, but I never got around to finishing the garage...and now we’re moving, we just bought a property about an hour away...the new garage is even bigger, can’t wait to get to work on it!...my wife actually made my shirt, she’s the crafty/clever one in this marriage! 🤣

What "fuse spot" did you actually use to place your add-a-fuse in, what area in the truck does the spot covers? Example, airbags, full pump etc? In refering to numerous sites, they say NOT to use a spot that could casue a malfuction due to placing an adding add-a-fuse. They said to pick a fuse spot that is on when your ignition is running, but NOT a spot that is vital to your truck's fictionality.

Thanks David!!...and that’s an excellent question, I’ve never even thought about it...lol...I’ve had an electric cover for the last 7 years now and never had any problems with them opening or closing, so it never even crossed my mind...but now ya have me wondering so I may call them and find out...if I do I’ll keep ya posted!

With the Readylift they say some of the SST kits won't work with air bags for leveling while towing. Did your kit say that ? Thanks

Good video! I have a 2018 Sierra, and want to mount this under the hood, drivers side where an auxiliary battery could go. What do you think of that? I don't want it in the cab, underneath, or in the bed.

I have a 2010 lifted tundra.. would these airbags be a good solution for the added 800 pounds that I carry daily? I have a decked system along with a rooftop tent , your standard overlanding components. This looks like a better solution to my bed being a bit too heavy. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.. and a great video you posted, thank you 👍

Does it seem to help with bed bounce or the stiff ride of a TRD? Can you haul more if so how much more is safe?

I wouldn’t say it does much for the ride, I keep my bags at 7 psi when not towing and it feels just like stock...and you can’t necessarily haul more, they just help keep the truck level when towing/hauling...it eliminates the “squat” on the back end with heavy loads, hope that helps!

At the end of your video I see in the bed of your truck you have a remote that as "O" and "C" on it. Can you tell me what that is for? Is it an bed lighting unit?

Hey Ryan!… That’s actually the remote for my electric tonneau cover, it’s my bed cover that opens and closes by remote… my bed lighting switch is in the cab of the truck…Thanks for checking out the video!

Hey!…no prob, thanks for watching…I’m not sure I would do that, only because it would most likely blow fuse…especially if your compressor kicks on while you’re also moving cover…hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Great video! Just got the 2nd generation Wireless EZ compressor and also have a Tundra (2019) with a cover. A couple questions, I don't have a bedrug but do have sprayed in liner, I'm thinking of using self-tapping screws to mount. Any suggestions? Secondly, I tow a trailer with a 3500-watt generator I keep in the bed to recharge my tailer batteries, do you think there should be any safety concerns/ issues with having or carrying a container of fuel in the bed of the truck and having the compressor in the same space? Thanks for the detailed install, will make mine a lot easier this weekend!

Thanks man, I appreciate that!!...yea I would think you should be fine with self tappers...should secure it with no problem...and same with the generator, I don’t think there’s any concerns at all...I would keep the fuel away from them if possible but shouldn’t cause any issues...let me know if I can help ya with anything and thanks for watching!

I would put a rubber backing to cut down on vibration seeing its still pretty much metal to metal dispite the spray liner.

If the compressor is so quiet, why not install it inside the cab? I still haven't found good info on the inside route, but tow a boat and want it kept completely dry, without taking up bed cargo space (I use the full load area often.)

You can absolutely mount it in the cab, but you will most likely hear it when it’s active… Placing it where I have it you can’t hear it at all but I understand what you’re saying about using the bed… Works perfectly for me but if you need every inch of the bed it might not be a good spot for ya… It’s relatively easy to access the inside of the cab, there are grommets that you can go through underneath the truck

Question, why would you want the compressor running on its own. Doesn't that mean you have an air leak?

Hey Andres!...great question, it very rarely kicks on, but if for some reason the bags do slightly drop it’ll kick on and keep em where they should be...it’s kinda like your tires...if it gets cold, your pressure can drop...you should check for leaks every so often though, just to make sure all is well...thanks for watching!

It’s gotta just be the angle, they’re strips just like I have under the truck as well...the ones in the bed are actually from a company called “Outback Baits”, I usually use Bluewater LED’s but decided to try this other company for bed of truck...so maybe that’s why they look a little different but they’re just the normal strips

Question: When connecting the "T" from the main air supply as shown with the BLACK air hose to the RED ones, shouldn't the two RED hoses that are going to each bag be the same length? Meaning shouldn't the "T" be placed as close to the middle as possible to both air bags? Wouldn't an uneven line to both air bags crerat an uneven air flow? Or becuse there is already air in the lines it wouldn't made a difference? Have you ever put air with your new set up and measured the lift on both sides from the finders to the ground? if so, did the system raise the bags evenly, keeping in mind that the "T" was not centered? Thanks and great vedio by the way you did good job spelling it all out.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it!…yea no issues with that at all…I see what you’re saying but the bags inflate evenly, never had a problem with one over/under inflating due to length of air line…I actually have measured “lift” after inflating bags, I did it with the boat hooked up…the height increase was identical on both sides…hope that helps!

Love the AirLift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimates with the internal jounce...installed them on my 2022 TRD Pro and couldn't be happier!

Man you need to install a blue sea fuse panel. Clean all that wiring up easy, and make it really simple to add accessories or check fuses.

Hey Cody!…yea I see exactly what you’re talking about, which is really weird…haha…I ordered the 2445 and that’s even what my receipt says, but you’re correct when lookin at the kits online…the TR2445 looks exactly like the kit I used…not sure why my receipt says 2445…sorry for the confusion, hope that helps!

@@NitroZ18FishingI was just looking at it again and noticed the model description was saying that it compares to the 2445, so I looked it up on Google and turns out that it is a different brand that is exactly the same as the firestone that they sell. Very weird. Either way I will be ordering the firestone because if the brand and get the compressor and I think I am going to install the compressor in the bed of my truck as you did since I have a diamondback cover and seem to be the safest place for it to be protected from the elements. Thanks for the reply. love the videos, has helped me on a couple of the same upgrades

Didn't see any demonstration of how the airbags raise and lower the truck.

You only use them to raise the truck after loading it down with whatever you’re trailering or hauling...for example, if the load weighs it down and makes it squat 2” in the rear, you would fill bags to whatever psi it takes to raise it back up 2”...hope that helps!

honestly you probably could use these to raise the truck a little bit without towing/hauling anything...if you inflate them with no load on the back it def raises it...just not sure if it's recommended...haha...you would def have to watch and make sure you don't overextend your suspension as well

Hey man thanks for the video... great video, but man, the engineering really lacks when it comes to weather protection...that setup is COMPLETELY exposed to all elements if mounted outside of the cab. I would think that the best place for that would be under the hood somewhere IF it could fit.
