Nikias, do you ever find that the cases interfere with pairing by opening the case and with Find My AirPods? I have a Catalyst case and I love it but I think it interferes.

Thanks for the video, just a quick query. Double tap option to play/pause always seems to work only to pause don't work to resume play. Did a reset still the same, any advise?

I’m currently on iOS 12.1 awaiting an A12 jailbreak. I recently bought Airpods 2 and can confirm finding my AirPods in Find my iPhone , Hey Siri are two features I noticed that require12.2 and also flipping open the AirPod case to bring up that pairing animation and battery status doesn’t work as well.

Which wireless charger do you have

- All good stuff, here is one you might not have come across; did you know if you mix up your generation one bud with a generation two you iPhone will show you which one is which so you can keep the generation one buds with each other and the generation two buds together. One other tip that a lot of folks don’t know is how to find the firmware version your AirPods are running. Pair the AirPods than go to Settings => About, and look for AirPods in the menu. Select and their is the device information. Question: why are the generation one and generation two firmware listed differently? One last item for you, Apple announced that in the next update for Watch OS the ECG function is coming to Spain.

I just got the AirPods 2 without the wireless Charging Case and I was wondering if my AirPods are at 100% and I put them back inside their case , will they continue charging all the time ? ( while being inside in the case) is that a bad thing..?

Just a amend to tip #2: the AirPods (or any Bluetooth-connected device) has to be in “connected” mode, in order to change device settings. Otherwise, it’ll just give you the option to disconnect/reconnect or forget device.

I feel that Apple it’s just trolling us, maybe they are trying to make us forget about AirPower and then launch it.

There is no reason to have pause/play for double tap. You can just take one airpod off. Instead you can have previous/next track or Siri! On the first gen.

Anyway with the same yellow iMac as me deserves to be subscribed to.

But the airpods wont play any sound if it is not connected in your phone. Like for example it is in the case and its close so definitely it is not connected and you misplaced it somewhere your house, you can actually check where your airpods location is but you can’t play a sound since it is not connected.
