To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ru-vid.comUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Right? I mean, if you have more than a thousand dollars to waste on a bloody PHONE (yes, I know, they are basically mini computers nowadays, but let's not forget what their original use is) and like 150 bucks to waste on fucking in-ear headphones, that sound like shit for that amount of money compared to other in-ears (company 1MORE comes to mind; their triple driver in-ears are amazing).... It’s like $40 more if you want the wireless charging case so like $200 if you want to just wirelessly charge a headphone case. My Altec earbuds came with a wireless charging case and the pad to charge them on for like 100 dollars on sale.

@Zander X Well that's true the first time you use it, as you have to set up the pad. But I've used Samsung phones before and after they started wireless charging, it made things so much easier and simple. It doesn't seem like much of a difference, but it meant I was charging my phone every time I placed it on the table not even thinking about it and I would never run out of charge. But I would never buy it as an add on for overpriced headphones for even more money, especially not when it's Apple's excuse for not actually changing anything in 2 or 3 years. I think more people are finally seeing that's what Apple have always done with their iPhones too. I would just buy the Galaxy Buds.

I can't use intra earbuds (eczema inside both ears), so airpods are one of the few that I can use. Even tho I'm not a big fan of apple products in general, I really hope they will stick with this design (for it is the only design that fits my ear and does not trigger any unwanted ear canal health issue)

Just got a pair as a birthday gift and honestly I wasn’t expecting much from all the hate reviewers give especially compared to my jabra elites and honestly I absolutely love them. They also fit me so well I literally can’t make them fall out, even my “more secure” jabras fall out if I shake my head hard enough.... not AirPods

I have the Samsung gear 2018 and the only thing wrong with them is this 'fitness mode'. But other than that they are amazing, quick connect, several different fins and bud sizes, 4 hours charge in a bud and 8 hours in the case, using one at a time they can get me through a 12 hour shift only switching ears once while putting them away periodically. 10/10 would recommend

to update the Airport your Apple device must be running 12.2 and the airports are connected to a charger and place it next to the device for 30 second or less.. to check that it's updated open the general - about - open airports and see the firmware
