To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ru-vid.comUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I care about sound quality but I also love to blast music but an important consideration for me is that my music isn’t blasting out of my headphones loud enough that people around me can hear them

@@joseph_konze if you're willing to pay for more features (that actually have good use liek for example the transparency and noise cancellation) and comfort, the pros are for you. if you want simplicity and slightly better audio quality, get the 3s but for me the pros are way more ideal for everyday usage. the noise cancellation definitely helps if youre in a noisy area, and youd have to turn up the volume if you want to hear your music in the 3s.

@@joseph_konze after my testing I found that while the audio does leak, I can still comfortably listen to my loud music on around 60 - 65% without much if any audio leaking, if you blast music to 80 90 100% then the pros from what I’ve asked others are better to reduce audio leaking and the audio from the 3s I’ve found from my experience of pros from a friend is that the 3s are better, they also have a longer battery life is it really depends how loud you are listening to your music and whether battery life is essential for you, also if you work in noisy areas or listen to music around them the noise cancelling on the pros maybe better for you, like the other comment mentioned on the other hand if you don’t and want a cheaper alternative to the pros that will still produce minimal audio leaking dependant on volume and slightly better and improved audio quality than the pros, than you should choose the 3s. I love the better bass and shorter mic post. A good fit in my ears, , good touch control, a high capacity battery case long battery life, and quality sound for phone conversations are my biggest concerns with ear buds.

I owned both the Pros and I currently use the 3s, in my ears I absolutely feel like I have nothing there, when I’m listening to music it feels like magic because of how light they are and they sound amazing! I ended up selling the Pros and didn’t use NC as much and transparency is already there in the 3s, best purchase for my iPhone! 👍🏼

I hope somebody can help me with this. Ive been wanting the pros since their release back in 2019. Ever since then ive had 1st/2nd generation airpods. I now thankfully have the 3rd generation which I love, but im considering buying the pros as the noise cancelling is game changing for me daily, however the noise quality is slightly worse on them I’ve heard. Should i return my 3’s and wait for the new pro’s next year, buy the pros now, or keep my 3’s?

These are way better than the 2nd gen. I could never wear earphones that plug up the ear canal. It would give me ear infections. So, the pro’s are out of the equation for me. If I’m in a louder environment or want to get lost in the music, I would just use my beats studio’s. I really like the special sound of the 3’s. I was kinda worried about the size. They do feel a tad big, but they stay in. Left ear is a little funky, but I can deal with that over ear infections.

There’s alternatives I have the pros but I’ve ordered memory foam ear tips in all sizes for $11 on there and they fit more comfortably and don’t fall off the only down side is that after awhile they get dirty and start to peal and the foam starts to break .. now I’m just waiting for my AirPod 3s to come in tomorrow

Sound quality and comfort are key but in our new hybrid work environment having to keep earphones in our ears for extended periods of time make the 3’s the better option

They don’t fit exactly like the 1st/2nd though, I bought these and returned them a few days later after directly comparing the fit between the first gen and these. I prefer the smaller fit of the 1st/2nd more, the added bulk of the 3rd wasn’t it for me. So I bought the wireless charging case of the 2nd gen instead The 1st and 2nd gen, are more right angled and flatter on the side that goes in your ear while the 3rd gen is more 45 degree and curved outward as well as bigger on the side that goes in your ear.

I’m not going to deliberately run these through a wash cycle, but your mishap is go to know about. I wear these cool sports bras that form a great pocket to carry small gear in, and I have almost washed my AirPods before.

I work with a lot of barking dogs and very loud decibels. APP2 with ANC is perfect for me. I’m used to using silicone tips so no worries there. Hoping to try them out soon

I dont know what the other comments are talking about, but with my experience the more bass and improved sound quality is amazing on the 3’s. I personally think that the spatial audio and new design is amazing also. The 2nd gen is starting to look outdated too. Hope that helps

I'm planning to get one either gen 2 or 3. I'll be mainly using them for phone calls and casual music listening. I'm not going for the pros cuz i don't mind lacking ANC or so features since I won't be using them anyway. But I'm finding hard to decided between 2 and 3. what gen3 attracts me over the gen2 is the 6 hrs battery life (whereas gen2 gets 5hrs) and sweat & water resistant. But I've read many comments people saying gen2 fits better for them rather than gen3. In where i live, I could get gen2 for $110. I've never tried them personally what I mainly use is the orginal lighting apple earphones with wired and I feel like getting a pair of airpods. By the way, those wired earphones fit me well I must say. I also have a small ear canal. Any suggestions please.

I’m Waiting for rhe delivery for my new Airpods Gen 3 this coming week so I could compare the difference between the Airpods Pro I bought last 4 months ago. I’m excited to use this, which I could say is my Christnas Gift to myself. I hope this will not disappoint me when I use it. I love listening to music and podcast on Spotify and watching KDramas on Netflix and Viu. And I hope this would not drain my iPhone 11 easily so I could enjoy long hours using it and bluetooth could easily read and automatically find it

I returned my airpods 3 today and got the pros. The 3's were bulbous and hurt my ears(I'm a man not huge but not small), they also fell out all the time or felt like they were about to constantly. I got the pros and love them, so I now have a pair of airpod 2 and pros.

I only want something comfortable. I currently have the AirPods Pro they are great, there sound but unfortunately they fall out I constantly have to be pushing them back into my ear and also my ears feel weird when I take them off.

I couldnt ever wear pros even if they are better than the open ones. I dont like ear buds that you have to push inside your ear and I also have tiny ears so I have to make a doctor appointment every few months to get them cleaned out since the wax builds up and there's nothing I can do about it. Earbuds you have to push inside only makes things worse for me

Personally durability I’m currently using the AirPods 3rd gen but I came form Jabra 75t actives and they broke after nearly 10-11 months of use which is not acceptable I hope that these will last longer with regular use

@@juicygamer9724 i literally always have them in when im using my phone , i just prefer to hear the sound through my airpods then through my regular phone speaker . i just really like using the airpods. and im ALWAYS listening to music , when i'm doing homework , in the car , cleaning , while im out going places , i just always have them in and i like the fact that when i am home and not around my phone my airpods announce calls and texts for me so that's another reason i choose to keep them in even when their not really at use

@@alobeast3099 no i actually can’t because I live in europe and ordered them from a certified apple reseller not a accrual apple store. They also were more expensive (225€). I could have gotten the pros for cheaper but I don’t like the silicone tips

I’ve had them for a couple weeks now and I do love them, I guess I’m one of those Lucky people that has the right ear shape, however there has been times where it’s made the inside of the ear hurt. Other than that, the only complain I’d have is that there quite a lot of sound leakage when playing music at a high volume.

Im considering buying AirPods 3 or the pro’s because there small so I can wear hats with it when it’s cold, but I’m mixed on witch one I should by. I listen to music maybe 12 hours a day, and I love being in my own world with my music witch is why I’m considering the pro’s, Especially for school, so I can concentrate better. but the AirPods 3 are cheaper so i don’t know.
