"Ear buds" sure are a personal preference thing/fit, that's for sure. I've not used the 2 or 3, but recently got the Pros, worried about the fit question. Fortunately for me, no concern. Really comfortable, and whether "transparent" or noise canceling, I forget that I have them in.

I bought airpods 3 (switched from 2nd gen) actually yesterday. I’ve been annoyed with them since. I am actually getting better sound with my 2nd gen than the 3rd gen. Spotify vs. Apple music (even tho i am an apple lover, i use Spotify)- Spotify sounds shitty on them, Apple Music a bit better. I didn’t have that issue with my 2nd gen. After i’ve changed the equalizer settings in Spotify it got better, but still, these are not the cheapest earphones, so i’d think there would be a great sound without me doing anything. Watching Netflix or youtube, the sound is very empty. Also, these feel like they are about to fall out of my ear, even thought they’re not falling out. I am very disappointed to say the least. I will gladly be sending these back, as they’re a huge disappointment… btw, they leak music, a lot.

AirPods Pro is for me, once I fit them in my ear correct it just fits for a long time, tried out the AirPods 3 and it didn’t really fit. Noise cancellation and transparency mode is really good. The audio quality is amazing too. Of course as this channel said our ears are different so maybe your ears fit AirPods 3 better then AirPods Pro’s.

Well said. For me an open bud style fits my ears better than a silicone tip. With the pro’s, they slowly work their way out of my ear, due to me having a smaller ear and ear canal, where as the 3’s don’t fall out.

When I bought these a few days ago I wasn’t sure because the jabra pros I returned for them were more comfortable but after switching the ear piece to the smaller ones there fitting fine . Do miss the eq with the jabra but apples connectivity is top notch

just switched from airpods 2 to airpods 3. i dont really love silicone tips. The bass is such a massive improvement between 2 & 3, and the fit comfort is still there. Solid upgrade and got them refurbished for just $100 and they look brand new.

The main issue is: how's the sound quality on an audio call? Everytim i'm on the phone or on a zoom call, the other end complaints about the huge background noise and i get to remove the airpods. Is it solved in the 3?

I bought the AirPods Pro and I’m so much happier then with the 3’s to be honest. The noise cancellation is my fav feature and all I need in a big city tbh. It’s almost the same features and they were much more high priced then the 3’s but still, I feel much more calmer

I have the Airpods Pro and I honestly do not like the silicone tips. They don't fit my ears well, the tips sometimes get stuck in my ear when removing them and I have lost some tips. Looking forward to buying the Airpods 3 since I've never had an issue with Apple's wired earphones which have a similar design.

Just did an A-B comparison and the 3’s definitely sound better than the Pros. A little louder and clearer with a little more bass. The 3’s were also more comfortable in my ears. The only reason to have the Pros is if you need noise cancellation.

I am a bike commuter in a large city and ambient sound coming in is essential to my survival. I’ve been using the Pros for a year now and I appreciate transparency mode. I purchased the 3’s and tried them. They let surrounding sound in more than the transparency mode on the Pros.The bass on the 3’s is better than the Pros. If you’re in a situation like biking in New York, you will appreciate the ambient sound coming in. In a noisy gym environment, the ambient noise coming in was not a feature that endeared itself to me. I did not enjoy hearing other people’s grunts and animal noises , while I was trying to escape the world on a treadmill or elliptical. The Pros with their ANC dominate the gym.

i feel like you should’ve talked about the option for the airpods pro to contain magsafe. I purchased my airpods pro a couple of weeks ago and i had the option to add in the magsafe charger. which means the pros are generally better, since the third generation don’t contain noise cancellation

I tried the AirPods Pro first but was hurting my ears. So I had to return them and bought AirPods 3 during thanksgiving sale. $179 with a $25 gift card. Coming from first generation AirPods it was a day and night difference for me in sound quality. Especially the bass. I like the fit of AirPods 3 better than pro. Glad i bought them. Thanks for the comparison video. This was very helpful going in to the decision making. Even though you recommended Pro in this video i bought AirPods 3 which suited me ears. Very comfy to wear

My friend had the pros and regretted it. The silicone tips kept coming off in his ear canal and had to use tweezers to get them out!!! If you want noise reduction get over ear headphones. I have the threes and are great. By not having noise reduction you won’t get run over by a bus.

What I really like the most on my airpods pro is my control on whether I like to hear my surroundings or not. Thanks to noise cancellation and transparency. For that also will determine greatly my appreciation on the quality of music and of course spatial audio

I don't think you should really buy AirPods 3 if you already have the pro (unless you're a tech reviewer because the only 2 improvements are MagSafe and longer battery life and MagSafe isn't a big deal especially if you don't even have a Magsafe charger and with the battery life like he said there isn't a really big difference. When the Airpods pro came out there were some big improvements like ANC and Transparency mode and the Airpods 3 doesn't even have ANC or Transparency mode so it is not upgrading at all.

If I wear the airpod pros with 'proper seal', they always wiggle their way out of my ears in a short time. They also get real sweaty and uncomfortable. I haven't tried the airpods 3 yet, but I do know when I wear 'open air' type in-ear headphones, I don't have that problem. I actually prefer the Samsung Buds Live over the Samsung Buds Pro. All subjective to the individual's needs and physical characteristics.

I should say apple system to find proper tip is trickery so try all seals and at same time you dont have to push those silicon tips much Apple ıt says normal even big tips are fit to my hears aswell which not true but small ones are pretty fitted decently into my ears secure and extremely comfort best thing ever app did I am using for 10 hours a day in my ears and worked for me maybe works for you too

I don’t know what to choose AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro (1st Gen), because I need the secure wearing of headphones by vacuum and Noise Cancellation while getting to college by metro - those are pros for Pros, but I still need less feeling of silicone tips and easier pulling each of earbud from my ears - pros of 3s. Still can’t pick one, I keep staying on wired headphones from Apple☹️

I'm planning to get one either gen 2 or 3. I'll be mainly using them for phone calls and casual music listening. I'm not going for the pros cuz i don't mind lacking ANC or so features since I won't be using them anyway. But I'm finding hard to decided between 2 and 3. what gen3 attracts me over the gen2 is the 6 hrs battery life (whereas gen2 gets 5hrs) and sweat & water resistant. But I've read many comments people saying gen2 fits better for them rather than gen3. In where i live, I could get gen2 for $110. I've never tried them personally what I mainly use is the orginal lighting apple earphones with wired and I feel like getting a pair of airpods. By the way, those wired earphones fit me well I must say. I also have a small ear canal. Any suggestions please.

I haven’t tried the gen 3, but I have the gen 2 and the fit is the same as the EarPods. If you like the wired version, the gen 2 is a safe bet and it’s cheaper than the gen 3.

With ANC turned on I’ve noticed significant improvement in Bass. Not sure about others but yeah that’s the case for me. In terms of mic, I’d say AirPods Pro is unmatched.

I also use an android phone and recently bought the Airpod Pros after thinking about it for quite some time. You don't really lose a lot of key functionality and the ANC is honestly fantastic.

I was going to buy Airpods Pro but then found some good clones (Navapods). Everything is literally the same as on the original airpods but they cost only 60$ I think. Crazy. Sure, sound isn't exactly the same as on my friend's original airpods pro but he paid so much more lol. I'd say the sound quality is about 80% compared to retails. Even the active noise cancelling works lmao.

Okay so I'm from India and I recently got the Airpods Pro with MagSafe case for Rs. 17900. Airpods 3 were on sale for Rs. 17200. For Rs 800 more I chose to go with the Pros as I use ANC a lot when I travel. Surprisingly The price of Airpods Pro went up to Rs. 21900 now and Airpods 3 are on sale for Rs. 17900. I think I got the Airpods pro with MagSafe at a steal deal.

The outdoor call quality of my Airpods Pro (gen1) sound nothing like your's. One of my family member called me using it, and I heard EVERYTHING, the traffic, people talking around her, but her voice kept getting interrupted. Very disappointed.
