@@elJong yea I saw, the lowest I saw them for was $382 the red ones, I could have technically gone to a target, price match it and use my red card for 5% extra off, that would had been an intense steel but oh well. I’m still pretty happy with mine, all together came out to $433 tax included, space gray, I’m pretty satisfied.
I was waiting for the the gen 2 to come out but honestly I couldn’t wait and I heard that there might be minor changes honestly there still the a good pair of headphones and like he said I’m not a audio critique so you know I just want something that has good sound and will last me, I might trade them in later on but for now I got mine today of prime day so can’t wait to get them.
Nice video! There's no way I'm buying anything with a lightning connector in July of 2024, even below $400. Additionally, the updated chip will allow for Adaptive Transparency which is my favorite feature on the AirPods Pro 2. I'd rather spend the extra to get the device I want. If you're OK with lightning and no updated chip though, agree you might as well buy these today. I ordered the Bose QC Ultra which are also discounted for Prime Day. If they don't integrate well into the Apple ecosystem I'll return them and order the AirPods Max 2 later this year.
@@nycchislc yup! The USB-C was my biggest hang up since everything I have has updated to that, but I do still have some old AirPods too so will still need it. In a few years when the 2 goes on sale maybe I'll upgrade.
Really depends on how certain headphone's weight and size fits your head. I didn't experience it on my AirPods Max, but I had other headphones that made me nauseas because of how they pinch my head.
Prices fluctuate with the stocks they have. Just wait a bit. I feel towards October when the new version comes out they will drop again. Prime Day over July always have good deals since they time it!
