How to change the ear tips on Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation (also works with 1st). This includes removing and attaching with different sizes available.
Thank you! I just got the new Pro 2 and was scared I was going to break them removing the pair that came with it. Followed your video and it 😃worked great the first time. Appreciate your video
I kept putting off trying different sizes because I was afraid I would rip these fragile-appearing pieces of silicone. The third time my right bud fell out I watched this video (twice) and tested the small tips. The left one felt weird with a small tip, as if it was in too far - which it was. The right one felt perfect with the small tip, so I think I solved the problem of an AirPod trying to escape. Thanks for the clear instructions.
Thanks a lot this worked!!!!! Just remember that those who are facing problem while putting new ear tip, just check whether you can see black portion of airpod otherwise sometimes when you pull older eartip it gets ripped off and white part is stuck with black one.
Pretty worked🎉🎉🎉 That's why I watched this vd and read the comments🤝 Moreover,I pulled off the buds without looking at .Surprisingly I got a bit more power to pull off😬🤗
Thanks for the tip, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little bit nervous while taking them off. I had to really pull the one on my right bud. If it feels like it’s gonna rip, it won’t, these tips are made of quality material I promise
Thank you!! This was VERY helpful. My ear tip ripped completely away from one Airpod. My fault. What I forgot was that the Airpod without the ear tip attached has a black oval, which I noticed in your video. When my ear tip ripped, the hard white oval part of the ear tip remained attached! I was trying to fit one of the replacement tips over that! Drove me crazy til I came here and was reminded of what it should look like. Used an eyeglass screwdriver to pry the white oval off the Airpod and ta-da! The replacement tip clicked into place. All is well. Whew!
I used a small pocket knife and see the two tiny slots which are present, just one small flick and they come off at either end. Pulling them by the finger is risky. Using a tiny sharp object to flick it off works with little force. Snaps off on the first try. And it won’t poke all the way through, just look at the tip replacement one to see and verify. GL.
The method shown here didn't work for me, neither other ones proposed in the comments (gripping with a tissue or towel). What finally worked - I took the smallest size flat screwdriver I could find, and gently put the edge of it into the tiny slot on the bud, and it worked like magic.
The white part you have to take off I accidentally ripped mine off and I noticed mines werent black either it was the broken piece of the original earpiece I accidentally rippled off it’s like a lil cap I just pulled up with baby tweezers and it came of
that happened to me and the other tips would fit I had to pull the white bit as it was part of the proviso tip then when that came off the black bit was normal
