@Stargazer No, is really Comportable on my ear also i use on my S10+ for Charging to Galaxy S10+ with Wireless Powershare, While iPhone 11 Doesn't have Technology Reverse charging
Yup my AirPods are my “Bluetooth headset” I didn’t by them for active noise cancelling or to drift away into audiophile dreams. Plus I can do cart wheels and mine won’t fall out. I love these things, a great convenience. Can’t wait to upgrade 🤓
@Miguel Melchior Why you say that? They is getting good reviews all over the place, there are only 2 truly wireless buds with noise cancelling at the moment. Apple doesn't pay for reviews.
David B you have to say battery service at Apple and you get 70 per AirPod and for the case otherwise to replace them you pay 90 per AirPod and 90 for the case but the thing is you can’t change the battery so you get new ones anyway but you have to say battery service to get the discount
checkout EBPMAN Tech reviews or Jim’s Review Room. They review tons of earbuds and headphones and always have mic test along with other important things.
Nazenko yup. We got all this tech, these gadgets, phones, computers, different softwares and hardwares.. yet our calls still lag behind, and it’s something many of us still use very often.
I always thought wireless earbuds were overrated until I started using the Airpods 2. Can't even think of going back now, the integration with apple is dope. But the best part is the ease of use and the fact that I simply forget that I have them on, which is so awesome.
I've never had a pair of Airpods before but I'm tempted to get these, but I'm completely out the loop. I'm still on the iPhone 7 but are the Airpods compatible with that or newer iPhones?
Got my AirPods Pro on Wednesday and they check every box and live up to hype. The noise cancellation works great, transparency mode works great, easy to connect, great for calls, long Bluetooth range, good battery life, sweat resistant, sealed tips, and good sound. Once you add it all up...it's a big improvement and a great user experience.
Your the first person who actually did a pros vs cons on the airpod pro, thank you so much. Everyone else is only praising and have no criticisms at all
I'd like to see you name another true wireless earbud for under $130 with active noise cancellation, wireless charging and instant compatibility with your phone. That's right, you can't. For the price, the airpods are one of the best budget-friendly options compared to other competitors.
Pete R I would like the black version but I certainly won’t pay 3x for a color option?! I mean even the cheap Airpods are like 400$. This is more than unreasonable.
Great review! Love that you covered the call quality so extensively which most reviews tend to gloss over or skip altogether. Will be interested to see your upcoming review of the new Jabra earbuds for comparison.
People talk about "instant pairing" but honestly how long is it normally? Does it really bother you in any way? And once the initial pair it's been completed it would just connect quickly.
i tried all 3 sizes and did the seal test, they all turned out good, so i guess it really does't matter which size of silicone tips you chose as long as you can jam it in your ear. I'm not ever sure which one is more comfortable, i can't really tell which one i should be wearing yet.
Just picked mine up. Only 2 complaints. 1. Being the open and close part is kind of loose. 2. When you put pods back in charging case, they seem to not fit in right the first couple try’s. A message icon shows up on phone that they are not fitted correctly and aren’t charging.
Everyone always compares other products to Apple, but I almost never hear direct competitors compared in Apple reviews. Like come on, no comparison between Sony WF-1000XM3 and the Airpods Pro in any part of this review? Just seems like such a glaring oversight. It's pretty much the only other pair of true wireless earbuds with active noise canceling (and no, Echo's "noise reduction" doesn't count). Wtf Verge?
this guy explained everything! i love it! he even did a phone call test which i appreciate a lot. thank you, definitely subscribing and buying these airpods
ive got an iphone check ive somehow never gotten airpods check im ready for an upgrade to wireless earbuds check and i think the price is fine check and mine get here tomorrow check :) to be honest when people say its overpriced i dont think so. airpods are $150 anytime you add real noise cancellation they already go up $90-$100 so we're at $250 already plus it has the wireless chraging case which costed $50 more for the airpods 2 and all of the new features that the airpods come with.
I returned the AirPods Pro, the venting does not relieve that pressure feeling in the ear/head and I actually preferred the quality of the listening experience of the 2’s. Downside? I give up noise canceling
For me personally, I would be interested in upgrading to the AirPods Pro, but the physical shape and fit of the original AirPods fits better with my ears rather than silicone tips that tend to pop-out or create a pressured feeling when pushed-in deeply. Would I prefer the Pro’s or the originals based on this point?
Will keep AirPods 2 for just a little while. I was late to switch from wired earphones too. And they still have some advantages over wireless, like easy volume control, and the fact you can not easily lose them. I do like the sound quality and Siri integration of the AirPods. I don't like the feeling of noise cancellation, as with the Dr Beats headphones, which I gave to my daughter. 😊
I don't understand what is "pro" about it As you said those are not audio editing headphones and you can get better sound quality from other headphones like Amazon echo buds and it does the same as galaxy but which cost $130 and you can find it for way cheaper on secondhand sellers, Like I get calling the phone pro since you can do so much on the phone now days of those are some earbuds...
Bought it on the second day it was released. I skipped purchasing the previous once as they all don’t fit (and stay) on my ears since I don’t have that nice cup of ears that some have. It’s about time Apple addressed this issue. I can now finally enjoy owning an AirPod and I would have to say, I’m very impressed with the fit, sound quality, and how the transparency and noise cancellation works on this small device. Nicely done Apple. Now, anyone wants to buy my Samsung Buds? 😊
I think they Changed it to squeezing because sometimes when you would tap the AirPod while I was falling out of your ear to fix it it would pause the song when you were just trying to move it
Pro tip: you can get an applecare+ for $29 and replace the battery for free within two years of purchase if the battery capacity drops below 80%. in fact, they actually just give you a brand new set of earbuds when you request a battery replacement (because they also know it doesn't make economical sense to *only replace the battery*). so imo if you're getting one of these airpods pro, definitely get the applecare+ as well.
@@MrInside20 I'm looking to buy the Pros in the near future. Is the sound quality borderline audiophile material or not really? And what's the with the charging situation regarding the case? Can I charge it with my 6s charger?
TheWeekndFanX0 it is not close to being audiophile sound quality. But it’s good sound quality for the average person. So if you’re looking for top notch sound quality, airpods pros will probably disappoint you
One thing that everyone complains about the pros for is no volume adjustment besides Siri. I honestly don’t care as I don’t mind putting my hand down to my pockets, feeling for the volume buttons and pressing them. I thought everybody does that anyway but apparently not. Maybe I’m just not lazy?
Nice upgrade from the 2nd-gens, but not being able to pair to multiple devices simultaneously and lack of volume control are dealbreakers for me. Sticking with my 75T pre-order
I had super high hopes with the Pros, but ended up returning them within a day. They sound great and the noise cancelling is very good, but I simply don’t find the in-ear design comfortable. I’m sure I won’t be the only one. One day was enough for me to realize I prefer the old design. I never thought I’d be saying the “old AirPod” design is actually more comfortable, but it is to me. I was really hoping these would replace my QC35s, my old always on me AirPods and a cheap pair of JBLs I use for running… I’m sticking to my previous AirPods and QC35s.
It'd be nice if they still had touch controls - tap/long press right Airpod to increase volume, tap/long press left Airpod to decrease volume. Or other way around.
I have had my gen 1 AirPods since original release and mine are not even near replacing, battery life honestly still is about 5 hours too so idk if I would agree with that statement!
Idk if it’s just me, but I can’t seem to play my youtube videos after pausing them when I squeeze the stem once at each time.(Using the Airpods Pro btw.)
I just bought these for my Wife. They are a huge improvement from the previous gen. The new Pros are really awesome and sound fantastic with rich detailed bass with clean highs. I love the sound quality and the fit is very comfortable. Noise cancellation works well. Anyone on the fence should just get them because they are that good.
@@Michael-zn2jc why are you being so pedantic? last thing i want to see online after taking a break from my Contracts revision is to see people arguing like that
hmm I never considered the "2-3 years" lifespan. Is it not possible to get a replacement battery when it starts losing capacity? I bought these day 1 and other than this, I love them... loved the original airpods but couldn't move without them falling out, whereas I can run in these. Worth it.
Just got mine, overall 7/10, they stay in better than my original airpods, noise cancelling good but not as good as my Bose Quietcomforts, uncomfortable white noise when walking, fine while stationary.
Brony Fazbear Apple themselves say the Pros are not meant to compete with regular AirPods. My first gen AirPods are over 2 years old and I’ll probably just get the AirPods 2 because they’re so much cheaper and I like the smaller size, especially for wearing in bed.
