It’s the first time I’ve liked silicon tips, but I agree about the comfort of standard AirPods Not audio quality though, definitely prefer the new ones
Whoa, interesting perspective! I’m in love with the AirPods Pro snug fit and noise cancellation as a weekly train commuter. I went from AirPods 1 to Beats X. Beats X to AirPods 2. AirPods 2 to Powerbeats Pro. Powerbeats Pro to AirPods Pro. The thin AirPods Pro case alone compared to the thick Powerbeats Pro case won me over.
NotUviiv thanks!! I will try to check the demo units when I get the chance. I tried to buy them over the this week and holiday weekend, but it got sold out almost everywhere. The other factor that concerned me was the battery life and long term battery health .
Actually tested them in an Apple store and just like you, I was underwhelmed. I was like « nah, not worth it » and then I got the Sony’s. Night and day. The sound has a wide dynamic range, everything’s great, battery life is great, noise cancelling is great. It’s better than the AirPods in every way except system integration. But I honestly don’t mind.
Ah, this is the same opinion I have been thinking. Have both version 2 and Pro. I end up using the regular AirPods at home or walking about for comfort. When I want some noise-cancellation, I use the Pro usually in noisy environments where I want some concentration. When I use the Pro, the stuffy ear-clogging is noticeable and get uncomfortable over time. I always thought I would just need the Pro for EVERY situation as the transparency mode is so good, and the noise-cancellation very effective, but not the case in reality. It seems the comfort is a big factor, and yes, the sound from the 2 is preferable in quiet environments. So, I end up carrying and switching between the two daily.
That intro looks like a commercial my guy, and I mean that in the best way possible. I hate to sound like a cookie-cutter generic youtube commentor but I legitimately don't understand how you don't have at least 100k subscribers. The production value here is through the roof
I bought mines two days ago and are worth every penny in opinion. One more thing I didn't like the original AirPods because of the fit at first they wouldn't stay then with time started fitting my ears but I still fill like they where going to fall. I prefer the Pro over the originals but that comes down to preferences.
I have always wanted a pair of these, but never got them because like you said "the price tag". If got them I would definitely use them every day because music gets me through that rough times and lifts me up when I am feeling down. Also I do a lot of sports and my ear buds always get yanked out of my eat because of the wires So I think these would be great for me. I really hope you pick me and if you don't pick someone who really deserves them
I definitely prefer the Pros over the original AirPods. The Pros have much better sound quality and stay in my ear better. I love noise cancellation and transparency mode. I still use both, but find myself using the originals much less now.
hmm didn't expect that at all, pretty much everyone else praised the audio quality, it's weird! but of course the video was great and I hope you make one for iPhones and the 16" MacBook too :} P.S. still kind of waiting for the XS review

I have the original Airpods and the Bose QC35II. I got the Airpods pros to try out in Dec 2018, and I too preferred the sound of the OG airpods over the pros. As far as noise cancelling goes, the Bose are the best in the world. So... no need for the airpods pros.
Your videos are sooo aesthetic! Also, I love the regular AirPods too but they let in way too much noise and I found it very difficult to hear any music while walking about in a busy area with people. AirPods Pro completely changed that and I can barely hear much of anything haha. Also I think that the Pros have some way better sound quality and bass so in my opinion it was worth the upgrade
My main use for them is so I can work out without having them fall out of my ears as the first gen would constantly, and without music I just have no motivation.

I wholeheartedly agree. I’m selling my pros on eBay after having them for around a month. They just simply aren’t as convenient, sound just a cut below my originals, and overall aren’t what I thought they’d be, for the price I paid.
The intro was really something new, I liked it. Yeah I agree on you about the fit, its not as comfortable as gen 1 or 2. I am in the mix where I enjoy the seal but prefer the previous gen fit. Maybe gen 4 gets it better. Really liked the new style of shooting and those golden hours shots... MAGNIFIQUE!
I’ve never been an earphone person. It hurts my ear. Until Airpods v1/v2. It fixed it and I started using earphone daily. Until Airpods pro. It hurts my ear again. What’s the point of having better noise cancellation if I can’t even wear it comfortably for extended period of time. So, I’ll just pass the airpods pro and stick to my v1. Those are way comfortable to use. Period.
the only reason i don't mind as much the drawbacks in audio is because where i live there so much noice i think is worth it to take those drawbacks. @costeronny
I would really like these as I am a Noise canceling fan . I have been drooling on these for so long since they came out , have been watching every review ,, but cause of the expensive price , and how this is a consumer product , I am hesitant . I could really use the money for something more important. I would stick the wired earphones with 3.5 mm Jack as long as I can . 🙃 Btw followed you on your instagram
@nutritionalboy I really enjoy reviews that show a product faults are actually much more interesting and I really enjoy the way you structure your videos. I’d love AirPods Pro for commuting back and forth to school.

As much as I'd like to have the Pros, I really don't like the silicone plug inside my ear. That's why I love my OG AirPods and custom IEMs. Also, @drummerkid51
The 1.0 and 2.0 airpods didn't fit my ears, I tried the Pro which fit really well. The noise cancellation was decent compared to the Sony ones. Overall bass was deep and the loudness was good. Leaving my Instagram handle @thats_so_rajat
