Yes, but under the condition that you did not use any. If fresh air gets form the outisde it will get colder faster. As well the bigger the insulated mass of water the longer it lasts. So, we used it for baby formula for kids. I prepared water at night and my GF had enough for babyformula during the day. all best mate.

If the cubes were small enough you could probably do a beef and vegetable stew in it too. As you know it would certainly hold the heat long enough to cook it. Put everything in with the boiling water and after that the only effort involved would be to give it the occasional gentle shake.
