Got one from $29 for the G17/19 just to see if I liked it compared to my Alien Gear and I’ve beat the crap out of it and it’s surprising held up. I’ve had other guys drop it in their QLS and be surprised as well. I think if you want a holsters for the stuff you don’t run on your belt often grab a few. No doubt they are worth way more than the $30 you will pay for them but I am going to order a real thing and support Safariland and the innovative. Just those who are curious about how beat up it has gotten it took a 6 foot toss up and 25-30 foot fall on to some large rocks with a Dagger and red dot to be named later as I am waiting for a replacement. Holster and Dagger worked fine no issue. Inside of the glass on the optic was broken.
i'm glad to find another person who feels the pain of trying to find a left handed holster! Love the review, gonna pic one up and mount the OLS system to diffrent left handed holsters i have!
The good ole 6354do. I remember how rare and sought-after they were back a few years ago. I had a small side hustle flipping them and modding them until safariland started to remake them and introduce the 6390rds and 6360rds. The clone is not bad for the price but not as durable. Its "injection molded" 1 piece, just like the safariland 7t series, and just like the early 7t, is prone to breaking if you lay on it when the holster is empty. What i do like about the clone is that, unlike the real one (sometimes), you can use an RMR with no problems. The clone was made with the RMR in mind, unlike the real safariland which was made for the doctor optic.
@HorrorConflict4519 Thanks for the comment and deep lore! I, too, remember when these were really sought after, which makes sense why it was cloned. I couldn't think of the proper term while reviewing it, but yeah, it is 100 percent injection molded and not kydex. Didn't know about the 7T and its issues. I will have to warn my son about those. It's safe to say he won't be doing any combatives training with that holster on his belt.
