There shouldn't even be a debate about headshots... It should simply be mandatory for all Airsoft players to wear protective headgear... If they wish to participate at any of the UK Airsoft grounds... Problem solved!. 👍
No, I don't wanna wear headgear. Safety glasses do the job for me. If I was concerned about getting shot in the head or exposed skin I'd wear protection. Or layers

The Sniper Question - You are at a milsim. Headshots happen in real military actions. If you want to simulate a military action, you are going to have to deal with headshots. Especially since everyone is wearing so much gear and clothes that they might not feel a body shot.
Also if you can't hit a head every bastard is going to be rubbernecking around corners and popping up like meerkats lol. People need to go to paintball or laser tag if they want a lower impact shooting game
Real military action isn't set within strict areas with spawns and chokepoints. Intel, mortars and flanking would make these ghilly chimps redundant. Being a manchild who purposefully aims for the head should get you banned (like this megavirgin often gets). Larping about "muh realism" wont get you anywhere when the engagement distance most gunfights in airsoft are one forth of real war. If you want the real deal; enlist
Sticky Paintballs for those that don't call shots. Polyurethane glue is quite sticky and hardens with humidity so if you try to wash it off with water it sticks more.
@@Randoverse generally sniper it's not allowed to be used under 30m, also snipers run heavier bbs what's dropping their fps and only reason to have more fps it's to lift that heavy bbs so the wind don't affect them that much... At the end of the day on 30m rifle is painful as much as a sniper... So, if someone crying about headshot, they should play call of duty not an airsoft.

If they aren’t calling their hits from center mass or from being hit anywhere else because they want to cheat, then by all means aim for the chrome dome and make them realize someone is watching them.
I mean, all of these players had the option to wear proper face and head protection and many chose instead to wear just glasses, never mind the fact that many were not calling hits. Just require proper face protection (and potentially full head protection) and most of the headshot argument dies down.

And if you're on an active game field without eye/face protection I'm just going to have questions about your intelligence. Besides that he also has plenty of footage of people not calling hits until he shoots them in the head or hands and they flinch.
I can honestly say I understand in not wanting to get shot in the head, but these cheaters may as well justify headshots in the game. If your not gonna play fair, why should snipers be nicer to you in where they shoot.
I don't think head shots should be banned... the target area is from the top of your head to the soles of your feet... what people should do is use the Red Is Dead Airsoft's head protection system. As a player that has taken head shots I came up with the idea of protecting myself and it works as 1. I tested on myself point black with a Hi Capa 2. got @DMR_DAVE to shoot me when we attended a game at Ironsight in Andover with his DMR build under twenty feet.
I brought my 70 year old dad to play with me one day, and now hes obsessed with it. You dont have to do anything physically straining, you can always just hang back and snipe, and slowly walk closer into cover and shoot from there. You should give it a go!
At my field in Texas, it’s mandated that anyone under 18 has to wear a mesh mask and full seal goggles. Adults can wear full seal goggles but mesh masks aren’t enforced. Anyone who gets hurt, is responsible for getting hurt themselves. And only they are responsible.

Headshots should not be banned obviously because as seen in the video, cheaters won't call their hits otherwise. Unless of course you shoot them in the bean bag. Then they'll just try and have that banned next.
Don't think it should be banned but people should just man up and take there hits. I really don't like to headshot people but sometimes its the only part of the body you see. So if you can shoot somewhere els then do so. But people should be honest cuz its a gentlemens game. @kickingmustang you probaly won't respone to this but if people take there hits you too would shoot for the center too like Baz right? Headshots is part of the game but I quess you won't hurt people on purpose? But great video shows that people aren't made for airsoft if they can't take a normal (body) hit.
can someone explain the rules behind what's happening at 5:30? Also, given your team colours are completely obscured by your camouflage, how would it play out if the guy running by you had noticed you, not knowing what team you were on because you're basically invisible?
I’ve been head shot by a sniper, not wearing full head gear and I couldn’t help but complement the guy. Right smack center forehead, I looked Indian for a day.
Passenger charger repair since I was a cheetah players even though you shouldn't want okay now I understand you might not feel it but the second shot that you hit him with after that you can do I said do a headshot but make sure you recording all of it from the beginning that way you can show the Marshall in the owner of the field
If safety is the issue with headshots then go the other way, make face protection mandatory. There's no way to guarantee that shots won't hit heads, the only way to mitigate risk is to require protective equipment to be worn. I personally don't know enough to know if there even is a safety issue, that's just the only argument against headshots I've seen made that seems even remotely rational.
It is like a boxing or MMA where they say, "protect yourself at all times". So, for airsoft, wear appropriate head and eye protection and head shots wouldn't be an issue.

Will the players don't acknowledge getting hit and just ignoring it the only thing you do have left to do is to get a headshot what else can you do especially if you've got a few cheetahs in amongst the enemy groups🤔🤔🤔
Out of all the body parts I’d keep my head the most protection I.E a face covering mask with eye protection so If I get headshot ill be completely fine but that’s my opinion and choice and clearly not theirs
I'm going to my first airsoft game this Friday with a group of 7 and some randoms at District 23 in Billingham up in the north east, any tips from anyone out there? (yes I'm going as a rental but am borrowing a vest and glock 18 from freinds who have been paying for about a year)
@@ConvertAS the best part is, my local field actually does a beginner only sale where you get a pair of high quality gloves (my freind has used his for the last year and they've only frayed a small amount) for only 5 pounds (6 dollars, I believe) so I'm probably gonna get them. Banning headshots is the most ridiculous response you can have! If they ban headshots, they need to ban EVERY FORM of protective padding except for face protection! If you can't take a headshot, you shouldn't be playing airsoft!
Rule 1. Don’t be an asshole. Seems funny to say but if you cheat, you’re an asshole, and you have no right to complain where you are hit to ensure that you “get out”. For sniping, granted ever player should know headshots might be the only thing able to hit. Showing behind the tree/board/whatever cover so only option to hit since you’re playing well. Other example is opposite player is clear in the open, all hits are available, shoot for center mass. Boom hit and done. Now, maybe, you have a true legit player who doesn’t cheat and it hit a random part of their plate carrier or whatever… ok, boom another shot to “flesh” arm leg whatever. They call it because they felt it. However a Clear hit and no call again, put one on their head so they know they are hit. It’s supposed to be a game a for fun, maybe training, but just don’t be an asshole and everyone is happy 😅
If you aim center mass on your target there will still be a chance of hitting the target in the head, a slight change in wind, a leaf or branch of a plant will change where your target gets it at. It will be very hard to enforce a no headshots rule when there is still a chance of hitting the target's head. Most new players don't feel getting when wearing plate carrier/rig or when your adrenaline kicks in you won't feel get hit so easily except when getting hit in the head or groin where you a bit more sensitive to pain
Well, perhaps the hit- indicading-system should be the same as in military: u have to wear a helmet that beeps loud when hit unless u lay down. than the paramedic comes and frees you with a special key. It s not cheap, Iknow. But it seems its the only reralistic anti cheat-measure, from my p.o.w..
Let me see if I can throw a bit of reality into this conversation, AIRSOFT is "SUPPOSED" to replicate actual combat RIGHT? now IF that is truly the case, in REAL combat, REAL snipers typically aim for one of the eyeballs, or the mouth if it is open, it is called the "FATAL T" which is about 1 inch wide, and extends from the outer corners of the eyes, and connects with a verticle 1 inch wide strip extending from the eyebrow to the lyrnax, this IS NOT intended to be a face shot, the actual target is the medulla oblongata, which is located at the back of the brain where the brain meets the brainstem and spinal column, and shooting at it from the front, is the FATAL T, by destroying the medulla oblongata, with a bullet, results in an INSTANT and COMPLETE relaxation of the target, it is also an instant death, but the benefit of this particular shot, is that your target that you just reduced, can not involuntarily pull the trigger on whatever weapon he is holding, causing after the shot unintended damage to either friendly or enemy forces, OR CIVILIANS that may be nearby, SO IF airsoft is supposed to replicate actual combat, then airsoft snipers should absolutely keep headshots in their repitoir! and EVERYONE playing that stupid game should be wearing head and eye protection, stop bitching, and call it out honestly if you get hit!
Not an airlift player mustang.... maybe if they have lots of clothing on they may not feel the impact to the BB's, so go for the headshots 100%, If I was to go into a game with flying objects hurtling around I'd wear hear gear, wouldn't use a grinder without safety goggles would you 🤪 Grow up wingers and remember it's a game, play fair and you'll enjoy it more... Mr. Mustang, If a certain segment of people don't want head shots, they should stop playing places that allow them. Full stop. They need to grow up and take some personal responsibility like actual adults. Either stay home and play Nerf guns, wear head gear or go organize sessions with head shots disallowed. But don't whine like 12 yr olds and ruin it for others. Bunch of Karen's. If it's not against the rules, then a dome shots for the fools!
Why ban headshots in airsoft but nothing else? How about Paintball the headshots are way mor impactfull as with the BBs but my personal opinion is they are a part of the game if you remove the one thing that gets a clear hit from you target aka enemy player then I am fine with it. I myself have recieved some headshots but only for peeking which is fair game. BUt eneough of that. Like your videos and it is nice to see you in a Duo Game again. ;D All the best for 2024. Airsoft is risky and pain is just going to be there, wear eye protection and head shots are always going to be aloud. I used to sneak in 2 snipers when I used to play in Utah, my 500fps long barrel that was seen then my 7 jewel short barrel folding stock sniper I'd keep under my ghillie suit. 500fps are for the players who call hits, when someone didn't call a hit id shoot them in the face, neck, balls, or any other skin exposed areas that might hurt with the 7 jewl sniper. Even them they'd still take about 3 shots before calling hit, going to tend to bleeding caused by my shot, or to go complain that someone's gun is too strong but its so easy to just hide your other gun before they come up to u to check your fps that fps restriction basically isn't real. Bring in the big guns for the cheaters they'll get justice
There is no debate, it's airsoft, if you're not getting bruised you weren't playing it right, at least how all my family and friends played it, and we still played fair, wore our gear but we had this unwritten rule, "cheated today? Headshots rest of the way" basically you should expect to feel pain during airsoft, especially if you're a cheater. I'm a stupid American and even I know this lol
face protection should be mandatory, I played Air not so Soft for years and wouldn't think about playing without head face and neck protection. And Head shots are the same as any other part of the body hit them if you can. I would never take it personally if I was hit in the head. I would take it as a badge of honor if KM was to head shot me... LOL Great content KM!!!!
I dont even get why airsoft players go to a game with high speed projectiles flying around without propper headgear protection. And they cry when get hit by something painfull. These snowflakes won't survive a day in a traditional Karate Dojo(by traditional i mean a dojo focused in self defense not in sports karate).
Honestly in real war your not running and gunning. Most everyone gonna be prone and crawling. Might have a few forward observers or Cavalry out ahead bunkered down as well with some real firepower and communications.
HEADSHOTS!!! I do not play although I enjoy watching a great deal. It seems as though some people are prepared to cheat and cheat again but when you hit them in the face or neck it's almost impossible for them to ignore. I say if you show video of them ignoring body hits to field admin that should be an automatic ban for a period of time. I don't mean the occasional hit that is not felt. I mean those that are hit over and over that ignore the hit. Automatic ban for 6 months and spread the word(so and so is on video ignoring body/leg hits) ban them from play.
As a paintball player, I don't get the problem, maybe it is not good idea to just wear effin glasses when people are probably Shooting you xD Man, i got knocked out by close up headshots in tight games, so i wear a thick wool hat. Some people don't wear em, but they won't cry about bruises then ^^
Face/head protection should be mandatory. Most of the time the only part that's exposed is the head. The whole point of airsoft is to imitate warfare in a safe environment. Body shots are fine when available, but the issue with that is look at how much armor some people wear. They literally cannot feel when they get hit unless they're aware someone is shooting at them AND they're honest. Head shots are the only way some players call their hits (even if it's them complaining). Wear something to shield your face/eyes/ears/neck to avoid anything serious and have fun. It's as simple as that. The people crying about head shots shouldn't be playing in the first place.

An Aussie here, so i don't actually know the rules. The ones that I've seen who are complaining about headshots are the same ones who don't wear helmets (which is just dumb). I feel that if a player isn't calling hits, then the shooter has every right to dome them to force the instinct of protecting the head.
It's simple really. They want to ban head shots, fine ban head shots.... But only if they guarantee that ALL players call ALL body shots. Stop the cheaters and then head shots won't be needed. I'm for head shots regardless. They're good fun.
Banning headshots is ridiculous, especially when given the nature of a bb's flight trajectory. What happens if a player aims for the body and the wind carries the bb into a dude's face? You going to penalize that? Why even wear eye protection, if you won't let anyone aim at your shoulders or higher?
I say headshots should count and not be banned. If you're gonna play a game that involves being shot at with fast flying plastic beads, capable of cracking teeth or making welts in your skin, wear f'ing head protection. Imagine if football players starting playing without helmets and demanded that tackling be banned.
Britain fostering one of the most badass mfs in military history, the SAS, and then having these 'gentlemen' complain about headshots without having adequate protective gear is crazy to me. Something about the duality of men should be inserted here I guess.
I don't see how you can really enforce banning headshots. While KM is skilled enough to get them, not everyone is and they may accidently get them. How do you prove an accidental vs intentionally headshot? Are you going to stop the game to cry? And beyond that, you're going into a game knowing that there is the potential to get hit. It would be better to encourage or enforce using head protection gear. If someone doesn't want to use head protection then they can sign an extra waiver. I'm afraid catering to people being upset about headshots just opens the door for more rule arguments and less fun. Next thing there will be more games debating whether or not you can shoot through the floor of a building to get someone out, or that getting exploded by a pineapple doesn't count if it wasn't called. And these are just the surface of actual rules. What's next? No shooting into an east wind?
What you’re doing is very polite. Going for the body first and then making your way up. There shouldn’t be a debate. Maybe they should make cameras mandatory to prove themselves
speakig as someone whos ever played airsoft : I understand and support the argument that airsoft is for fun and you shouldn´t deliberately go for headshots or aim for the balls if you are able to aim for other Parts. However i think you should be given a single chance to call your hit. If you don't call it, go for headshots or whatever.
Sniper headshots are completely fine. Wear head gear or don’t play, if you complain, dc. Take the shot or suffer head/nut shots. Either deal with headshots or change the rules to make headshots not allowed but you can’t wear protective gear on your body and limbs so you actually feel the damn shot.
I haven't played before but imo I don't think you should aim for an exposed face all the time. Cheaters definitely deserve it though. Then again I'm sure you are recommended to wear proper facial protection so is it really your fault when they aren't protected properly Lol

I agree with teaching "cheaters" what they deserve but hitting someone in the head on your first shot is a dick move, now I do believe that headshots should be aloud only if that's all you can hit if you have a shot for there body shoot them there sure you might miss but if you're able to hit someone in the head then you'll be fine. If you think that shooting people in the head and hurting them is the way to play then you should just stop playing, it shows that you're immature and that you shouldn't be aloud on the field. there's a reason you're banned in over 50 fields, and it's simply because you try to hurt people. This is my take on headshots or making sure someone calls there hits shoot them in the body twice if they don't call those hits then headshot them or give them a short full auto burst, if it continues to happen then aim for somewhere a bit more painful like the thighs or something if they do this more than 5 times it's time for a dick shot. Not to mention the head is often the first and only part of a player that pokes up out of cover. When you combine in those who pretend or truly don't feel a single shot to the body, then headshots are a necessity. If you are too damn tender for a headshots then wear some head protection so you don't take it directly on the face. Bitching that part of a players body should be off-limits as a legit target is just cringy, and it's simply a tactic being used by little children who don't like to get shot. Play harder, play better, play with some damn honor and remember the game is supposed to be fun. Enjoy the competition and call your damn hits with a happy "nice shot!" The comradery and sportsmanship of airsoft is far more rewarding than always winning, especially if you have to cheat to do so. I'd rather get shot a thousand times than admit that I was unable to compete unless the rules were slanted in my favor and my enemy handicapped.
How do I feel about headshots??? Well, this is simulated combat, sooooo a headshot is certain quick kill in real combat so aim high, relax your breathing and let it fly. Really simple in my book.
this is why i have multiple gear sets, if you feel unconfortable with other people's equipment wear more protection or .. i'm sorry .. don't play it's up to you to agree to the risks !! wear helmets, faceshielsds ...... or don't but don't complain later

They where not calling them when your squad mate was body shooting them, you can over started to deliver head shots, and what do you know??! They are calling it, it's all fair, you expose your head, clearly it is going to get shot, come to alaska where we don't care where we get hit, we call it, and we give props for stellar or awesome shots.
