It may sound weird but I like the fact you looked at it and thought "it need more distinction that it's a toy" it's a weird thing that I personally think is good because 1. Never be to careful with how "real" these blasters are becoming and 2. It also gives people an example of how to add that level of caution without ruining the overall look of the blaster

It already had orange on it and im sure people aren't playing airsoft in a random public setting. This is just silly. You're already screwed if a cop is dumb enough to think that's a weapon. Not to mention real firearms come in safety orange quite often. In fact id argue it makes it look more like a real fire arm because the law only requires the tip to be orange so the majority of airsoft toys only have an orange tip

@@ovan2190 I agree It's a nice thought but as someone that has played airsoft, it looks more like a real gun now since the majority of airsoft guns only have an orange tip. Cops have shot a little kid over an airsoft gun and in his own driveway and didn't consider how unlikely that the gun was fake or the fact that it was just a kid. Doubt adding more orange would make a positive effect

Airsoft doesn't actually need any orange safety tips or tape, as long as it's treated with the same mindset as a real firearm. It's because they're legally listed as actual non-lethal firearms over toys or something.

metal and plastic are incredibly unpredictable and chippy when painting unless you sand it down abit so i dont think youd want to spend alot of time on a mini project

Found it funny how people think adding the orange is useless but you need to remember this is being used for nerf. Unlike airsoft where you will be in a private field. You might nerf outside in a garden. And you don't want the realistic looking gun being shown to your neighboors.

I've really been wanting to find a foam grenade launcher lately, and this might be a perfect candidate! Only thing is, I'm not the biggest fan of the idea of having to wait for a delivery or run to and from the shops every time I run out of green gas...

You can invest in an HPA bottle with an adapter to recharge these grenades with. You could even use the regulator on your bottle to tweak the PSI of your shell. You do need to have a shop somewhere that can recharge these though, but hobby, diving or Airsoft shops should have the pump you'd need

More safety orange means the airsoft weapons don’t look real except the tip anymore. Also, it’s better to have more safety orange than never, especially for display.
