For the loop, you have to open the snap closure, insert the end and then snap it back. This will keep the loop from sliding up.

Good video. The loop needs to be reconfigured from the way you have it. After you run the loop over the air tag, pull all the way down to the little silver button so that it looks like a loop. So much neater & secure for your use.

Im not clear on why one would put the loop on the outside of a bag - leaving the air tag exposed. If someone steals the air tag what use is it?

I bought the leather loop with mine, and attached it to my backpack. I didn't experience any stress on the thin circular part that keeps it wrapped like you did, but I didn't pull mine taught like you did. I think they function better if you let them hang at their natural state.

8:27 you are using it wrong, watch the video that Ijustine made, you shouldn’t loop it like that. The loop part that is fragile should be where the metal snap button part is.
