Most ads explain whether or not to mount in the ceiling, sorry you missed it. Sounds like you have good airflow already, if the booster is not noticeably better.
@@jdmediahub I also have a ceiling mount vent. I went with a 6" inline duct vent fan which I installed in the attic close to the unit. It required a separate temp control sensor. This way, it is programmed to come on when the AC comes on, any noise it makes is shared by the main unit (so I don't even know it's there) AND I get to keep the original register that diverts air in the room as it is meant to. I'll attempt to post amaz0n links next message, not sure if they'll be blocked so won't include them in this message body. Cost me just at $100 total.
Thanks all for the insight and the advice. I’m going to wait until the weather (heat of summer) breaks then add some additional venting that was described by Michael below.
