The lid mechanism works fine, but if you hit the ON/OFF button the fan starts spinning momentarily before the beeping starts, the fan shuts off, and the lid closes. It beeps ten times and the green light blinks. I have a multimeter hooked up at the fan to show the voltage, which is normal. The rain sensor is not the issue as I can open the lid and wet the sensor, which closes the lid.
This is an Airxcel Maxxfan 4500K RV roof vent with built in fan that runs on 12V and can be used in enclosed trailers, vans, etc.
