Wanted to take a minute to say thanks for your video. Out of the hundreds watched when I need some help, advice, tips even the WTH have I done this is bad situations. Your videos are straight to the point, good information with out all the needless stuff so many add to videos. The comments you make are funny and go right along with the information your sharing. Awesome job and thank you. I would like your help on a affordable scan tool for TOYOTAS. I think just the OBD2 will cover me if what I was told is correct. The OBD1 is for 1999 and older? I want one that will scan most all codes, including temp of transmission and reset. Not important is battery voltage and the simple stuff. In both my Toyota sequoias I went into dash and bypassed the STUPID tps sensors. I wish there was a way to just keep spare sensor. I do not need a light that always comes on with false warnings along with the issues. Then dealing with battery dying, can’t replace allowing dealers to pound you with the insane markup of new sensors. The bypass has been the best move I have made in relieving the aggravation of those stupid TPS lights. So many people say how they like the warning lights. They are also the same people who do not have in car and garage a quality pressure gauge. At home if they have air pump it’s not a compressor it’s the sponge bob pump. So yes people like that need constant reminders their tires need air and are not automatic inflatable. Any advice on some code readers I would be grateful. Thanks
That has the wrong hydraulic tensioner for the 4.7L engine. If you look at the photos on the amazon listing it shows the correct tensioner in the photo, but there were several people in the reviews that said they got the wrong tensioner for the V8.... just be aware
hey bud im about to buy 2 of these kits for some tundras as well. A lot of people are saying the waterpumps have a high fail rate. have you had any issues with them? dont want to do this job and have the water pump fail with a couple thousand miles.
I also bought this kit and heard about the leaking pumps. I just bought a genuine Toyota pump. Not taking a chance on a job like this. It’s a pain in the ass
I haven't heard about the water pumps failing on these. Concerned now because I just had mine changed last month. Will have to look into this. Thanks for mentioning it.
I've just sent back a INA water pump, made in Spain, the quality was horrible. I've just got a Aisin pump,.made in China. It seems very good quality. China will build to the specification given
