AITA for Calling Out My Husband For Not Being a "Good Christian" 

Story #1 not the AITA for a lot of reasons I won’t go into here. But a few things I will say. He’s right about a unified family however, he knew from the beginning your feelings about “his religion,” and if he married you anyway he is in the wrong. Scripture specifically says to be not unequally yoked to unbelievers. Again…not going into it. He needs to find a good Christian counselor and discuss with them. Outside of his church. His pastor is on his side and should have insisted you do premarital counseling and instructed him not to go through with this union. He had no business marrying you and he, along with every one in his church who are harassing you will one day be called to give account of their words. I don’t think you should stay together. Scripture does say that if the unbelieving partner would like to stay and live in peace then it’s ok. 1 Corinthians 7:15 says that if the unbelieving partner departs let them “for God has called us to peace” and it doesn’t sound like there’s much of that going on. I only see this as getting worse as your husband-who is not acting like a Christian husband-ups his bullying tactics to save face in the church. Sounds like he’s in some type of fundamentalist group. If you do decide to go, block him from everything and don’t tell him where you are. He’ll come find you and probably put on a whole show about his love. The bullying will resume as soon as he senses you are comfortable and lowering your guard. He’s sounds a bit on the narcissistic side. Good luck!
