Nah girl and make sure your husband doesn’t go behind your back either!! It doesn’t sound like its going to get in between your husband and his family, it sounds like he’s siding with his side of the family. If husband isn’t concerned about his son’s health with something like this, and is even accusing you of being the problem, i wouldn’t trust him with your son either. Get some legal rep and prepare for court if they threaten, this needs to be addressed.

I think some couples therapy is in order. The communication between husband and wife is not working here at all. I have gut issues and I know how miserable it can get if I don’t watch what and how much I eat and drink. Maybe it would be possible to get an official written description of the kid’s condition from the doctor? You could send a copy to everyone in the family. And you aren’t denying MIL visits, just unsupervised visits at her home. (That should be made clear to the lawyer relative). Good luck. My sympathy to your son. At least he knows what sets him off.
