While I feel horrible for OP, what I feel for that poor, innocent baby is a hundredfold. That child is going to grow up being used as a pawn, an object, a tool... I can see this poor child doing whatever mommy wants - cuz maybe this will finally make mommy love me... I really hope that someone proves me wrong. This child is going to need someone in their corner, and I don't see it being their fantastic mother.

What chance does that poor baby have with a mother like that. Baby will probably be blamed all his life because AP didn’t stick around and OP didn’t claim him. Not that OP was obligated, he deserved a clean break. Guess wedding and babies will reveal a person’s true self

When i was pregnant with our 3’rd son, i was in so much pain, i had to avoid People, i could not be thoughtfull or kind, i was just hurting and it was horrible. But even in that State, there is no way i would treat my hubby that Way.

My first thought is that her behavior only sounds plausible if he’s not the father. It certainly makes me think of someone feeling absolutely trapped by the relationship and baby. Like… Well Before you started reading the update, I was thinking that her behavior sounded like a self-destructive panic/almost trauma response to be able to compartmentalize any and all positive thoughts of her husband like that(and exclude him from the birth preemptively instead of based on some specific anger, even if that reason would have been unreasonable/illogical). Her behavior is so severe. Wait first thought was right! She clearly has some real issues to address about herself though..

It's a fake story. People called him out and he deleted his account. He made a mistake when he said his wife is a SAHM then said in the last update she was cheating on him with a coworker of hers

I absolutely LOST MY MIND during and after pregnancy. I ended up in a mental hospital when my son was 6 months old. I tried to kill my sister. I love my sister. I'm not even 100% sure why I did that. I almost married a guy who was in prison that I met on the internet. It was all so bad that I eventually had myself surgically sterilized so it wouldn't happen again. It was absolutely the most bonkers thing I've ever experienced and it took YEARS to level back out again. This woman may have been a liar, but it's entirely possible for pregnancy to fuck you up badly.

The wife must have been monitoring herself pretty closely to know she was pregnant that early. Many home pregnancy tests aren't reliable that early in a pregnancy. But to have that severe of an attitude change, especially so quickly does tend to make me think something else is going on and I can't blame OP at all for looking at a divorce and demanding a paternity test. WOW!!! If the wife's story is even halfway true, I feel somewhat sorry for her. Only somewhat as she should have at the very least talked to her husband to ask if he was doing what her mother was saying. Okay, no sympathy for the wife here at all. She cheated and the baby is the affair partner's baby. She made up one hell of a story once the AP disappeared and left her in the cold and she got DESPERATE! Good on OP for thinking things thru and getting some real answers. I do however, feel sorry for the baby having a lunatic for a mother.
