My dad has this tape deck and the recordings sounded amazing...He passed it onto me in the late 90s. My bedsit was unfortunately broke into and it went along with a few other of my things and i never saw it again! 😔
We had this cassette deck!!!!! LOVED IT! Wow. This video brought back a lot of memories very clearly. Made many many recordings on it. It cost about $450 from Tweeter Etc back in 1983. If it actually is the same model we had, you could high speed dub both sides A and B at the same time. So you could duplicate a 60 minute cassette in 15 minutes, for example. First time I used that, I copied a cassette that had Linda Ronstadt What's New on side A and George Winston's Autumn on Side B. It sounded remarkably good. Other first recordings I made were of new LPs I bought...Santana' MoonFlower, Steely Dan Greatest Hits 1974-1978, Donald Fagen's The Nightfly. Used most TDK SA-90 cassette. Used Loran cassettes when I could find them...they were the best in my opinion. I'm really impressed with your technical ability here to repair this beast. I never ever saw inside it and can't believe how intricate it is. Amazing job cleaning it. Looks great!. Good luck.
Основная фишка 220 - это ускоренная запись одновременно двух сторон кассеты, ну а послушать ее не переворачивая можно и в других деках, где автореверс предусмотрен.
@@user-ld3tc2mr3g Yes. It doesn't play back there. can only play normally. However, the heads are 2x2 channels. Thus, even when playing in one direction, it plays and records sides a and b simultaneously in accelerated mode.
