I live at 20 minutes from Aix, and I made a part of my study in Aix. But, to be honest, I never see the half of these fountain. The biggest yes, but the other not... In a way, when you are used to a place, you no longer see the beauty, the details. It 's a shame. So it's always a pleasure to see you video, with your fresh look, to remind me all thats stuff (and naturally, with your husband who are an Aixois, and for sure know all the best spots).

I completely agree that we become blind sometimes to the beauty around us. I know I would feel the same way about my hometown. It really is lovely to see other people’s perspective, I loved watching my Mom discover Aix ☺️

I've been living in Aix-en-Provence (5mn walk from Cours Mirabeau) since I was a child and I don't get tired of this city... Nice video and beautiful photos from Paul ☀️

there's one more fountain you can explore next time you are in the city center . leaving la place the cardeurs, on your way to a restaurant called Angelina, you will find another small yet very charming fountain ! ;)

Hi Sam , Hi Paul Great video as always really nice idea in this crazy heat to give us a fountain tour (especailly over here in Lille I'm not used to summer heat being here THIS early) . I dunno if this weird of me to think the following but your progress in fitting in France is starting to show in very little ways : Paul is speaking Sam *sneaks water on Paul's neck* Paul : Owww (a groan to say "Baaaaabeee that's cooooolllddd !" ) Sam : Giggles IN A FRENCH WAY !!! I dunno maybe I'm a weirdo but even when you giggle you seem to giggle more and more like us. Anyway you two rock keep going your photography is more and more next level it's unreal.

Another gorgeous video! I didn't know there were this many fountains in Aix! And is the water of all of them "potable"? I would never fill my water bottle at just any fountain in a city unless it has a sign that says its drinkable. I can't wait to come visit, hopefully soon!

Hello. You can drink the most of the water from the fontain, except if you see a sign saying "non potable". For information, the latin name of Aix-en-Provence is "Aqua Sextius"which means City of water. That's why there was a bath place. There is still a bath place but it's a modern one, called Les Termes.

Hey girl! How are you doing? My moving process to Aix is a nigthmare but I'll finally be there in July hahaha Please make a video of places to shopping nice clothes in the City Center. How fashionable are people in Aix? I know it's called the Petit Paris, but how common is it to see French girls wearing so chic and walking by Cours Mirabeau? hahaha, I am still having doubts about if the Provenzal life is for me but i can't wait to experience it by myself. Lots of nice vibes! ✨✨✨✨

Hey Gab! Sorry the process has been hard but I’m sure once you’re here it’ll be such a relief and you’ll be able to enjoy all the beauty this city has to offer. I honestly love the way the older women dress here, they are always so chic! I really don’t shop here in Aix, they have lovely boutiques but it’s way out of my price range 😂 I’m a thrift store kind of gal.

How do you know which fountains are clean enough to drink out of? Here in the US, you're not really supposed to drink out of fountains, as they aren't considered drinkable water. It would be great to have fountains of drinkable water everywhere!

Usually they’ll have signs that say " non potable.” I am constantly seeing locals get water from the fountains here in Aix.

Aix means water. It comes from Latin _aqua_ .

Yes! I left a couple of facts out of the video unfortunately so thank you for sharing. There is even a spa that uses the natural thermal water that the Romans used.

Is it just me or did your guys's voice change in this video? New Mix? May be just me because of my profession, I sm hypersensitive to that stuff. Also, now this is a weird question but are there regulations in France for like peeping Tom's lol? Some of the windows in those buildings are low....(iye...the places my head goes sometimes 🤦‍♀️)..

No new equipment, we have had a new mic but we got it about 4 months ago☺️ I’m not sure about the peeping Tom situation 😂😂😂
