Sounds great on my end. The tube pre amp combined with your LM1875 seems a nice pairing. Clean, clear and plenty loud. Thank you for posting a listening video in addition to the scientific testing. It's difficult to do with YTs restrictions and different mics, speakers etc but it's worth doing in my opinion. You'll get a better test of sound quality after your housework today and listening to music you're intimately familiar with I'm sure. We all have favorite recordings that we've been listening to for DECADES. They are great to use in evaluating new amps. Thanks again for such great content Elecifun. Listening to familiar music, it's not bad but it loses something when I connect it to my bigger speakers. I will try it with the other power amp I built tomorrow and see how it sounds on bigger speakers. I think the LM1875 can't punch out the bigger speakers as well. Won't know until I test. Cheers for the big up on content, its like a dose of dopamine.
I bought one just now to pair with an old 1980 Hitachi receiver I have. It will be interesting to hear the results, whether it merely just changes the sound or improves it. My thoughts are it will just add a different element or "flavour" to the sound quality rather than improve it. Even harmonics distortion.
@9:40 I like that acoustic guitar! Even on my phone it sounds very clear or clean. What brand is your audio MP3 player? I wouldn't mind getting that player or something similar. Tis very nice. 🤔
@@Elecifun I must be losing my marbles bruh! 😆 Some where I had a link to an AliExpress amplifier kit that I was going to ask you about. Fk knows where the link went. 😅 It's scary getting older. Oh I had to laugh at another diy kit I saw moments ago. An amplifier diy kit is advertised on AliExpress as dual 100W. Well I looked at the specs and it indicates its a 2 X 30 @4ohm. I look at the photo of the assembled kit and its connected to two very small 5W speakers despite it recommending two 30~60W speakers. 😅 Dirty rotten scoundrel comes to mind. 🤭
