She may be the only person strong enough to be at him. There isn't really anyone alive that could be at him. Gremmy could have, but that's it. Yehwach just absorbed him and kept him away from the fight. He was the only one strong enough to beat him too.
@@ChrrolloDI ....shhhhhh! I was partially asleep! Hahahaha I thought it said unohana. Don't correct my wrong readings hahaha that let's everyone else know I'm spethial.😋🤪
This is why I truly believe Gin was one of the all time strongest captains, it was said “if Gin ever pointed his blade at you, you were as good as dead”, with an ability like that and a bankai that can easily create those huge holes to damage an evolved Aizen (guard down or not Aizens durability was incredible), means that against almost anyone else it wouldn’t even be a fight.
@@chillichan what does that have to do with my statement… he was still crazy op, you’re just hating for no reason and i wouldn’t be suprised if you didn’t read my comment at all
Kisuke, Isshin, and Yourichi do more than the rest of the Gotei 13... and none of them use their bankai. Only Kisuke uses his shikai. And this is a stronger form of Aizen. Wild
Aizen was also reaching his Shinigami limit from the previous fights (captains, vizards, Ichigo, Yama). The way you write your comment is as if you are saying the three are stronger than the whole Gotei 13, which is just stupid.
@-------....___ no I don't think that. But I do think these three did do a better job than the ones who fought the weaker Aizen. But correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they were being affected by Kyoka Suigetsu during these threes fight. Idk. It does seem that these three are stronger than the other shinigami who Aizen fought earlier save Shunsui.
@@MrYutbe57 tbh, I have no idea what was real and what wasn’t real in Aizen fights because of his shikai. Also, I don’t think Urahara ever saw Aizen release his shikai. I think Aizen showed everyone his shikai release when he was a captain, so I think he became captain after Youroichi and Isshin left soul society, so yes, maybe you are right. None of these 3 were under the illusion maybe
@@sslowboy2984 I talked about the other. Aizen also let the soul reapers damage him, but they did nothing. And here he also let his guard down, but Gin almost killed him.
I'm just realizing Aizen put Ichigo's dad thru so much hardship. But he was also the one to get the ball rolling for so many great things that happened in his life after the white hollow. In a way this fight was about revenge for Ichigo's dad.
@@javierperez3596 I'll give you Shunsui and Kenpachi, but RUKIA'S??? No. Lol. Urahara would still win though, even if his bankai isn't as strong as the other two. He would compensate in other ways. Regardless, there is an argument that could be made, however, that his bankai is still better. He can just restructure anything to force it to have the properties that he wants. The scope of this ability was merely *touched upon* in TYBW.
2:50 Right there. That's the exact moment that urahara checkmates aizen. remember what color the sealing energy on aizen was after ichigo gave him the full family 12 piece?
Are you sure? It was said that he placed it inside of another kido and I don't think that was a kido. I'm pretty sure that was just some ability from Benehime. I was always under the assumption that hado 91 is what carried the sealing kido within it.
When Urahara explains to Aizen that he implanted the sealing Kido inside another Kido and shot it into Aizen’s body, it’s shows the Hado #91 on the screen
i wouldnt doubt it, also you can see that yoroichi punched and made a crack in the exact same spot that kisuke shot through while he was in chrysalis at 7:41 and you can see the damage at 8:03. that shoulder seems to have been targeted intentionaly
I think the old school animation is much more artistic and flows much smoother. New animation just looks prettier and brighter, the fight scenes are stuff like Boruto ( 🤢 )
@@philip-op6depfftt no the animation in tybw is way better than boruto. Honestly tybw feels like old bleach just with modern techniques used to polish it better.
They knew aizen couldn't be killed but sealing him was only the option....only way to seal him was to nullify hogyoku to accept aizen which ichigo did by humiliating aizen with sacrificing soul reaper power and his spiritual pressure...so they planned to place the seal while fighting as mentioned by urahara in the last
@@anime_weeb7727 I get that but why did ichigo have to be the one? Its implied that Isshin had the final getsuga tensho from his Engetsu so there were still other options
@@jujuplanet2866 cuz he's zanpakuto is fused with a hollow... So by becoming getsuga Himself.. Ichigo become a diff being for a small period of time... Also spoiler alert (ichigo had quincy power too zangetsu was the one to stop him to achieve he's full power)
@@anime_weeb7727 I’m well aware I’ve read the entire manga, but they still should have tried every option before making the 15 year old sacrifice all his powers
Isshin can’t use his i found out. Yourichi doesn’t use her zanpakuto even though she has one. Kisuke yeah his bankai would’ve worked but it’s close range. Isshin’s bankai takes a huge physical toll on his body and after the incident with White can’t use it. Yourichi has to talk to her zanpakuto every night to placate it into why she is a better fighter without it according to either CFYOW or SAFWY light novels.
Honestly, i don't think Urahara is really all that different than Aizen or Mayuri. The latter 2 delve into evil research but thats largely driven by insecurities. Urahara isn't insecure, but he can be just as cold. He already planned to sacrifice ichigo to seal Aizen. He needed aizen to think it was over...kisuke never used bankai nor the other two in this fight. They needed to lose while kisuke attached the seal. This means for a year or more hes been planning to sacrifice Ichigo to win the war. Possibly even since ichigo was born... he didn't KNOW he could restore Ichigo. He didn't even know ichigo would survive. He just needed an attack strong enough to engage the seal.
@@twanc156 ehhh I wouldn't call it a small price since in this case giving up his powers was essentially tearing off a chunk of his soul or rendering a chunk of it unable to be interacted with ever again to his knowledge
It gets even more perplexing as to why Urahara didn't use his bankai. He could've reconstructed the hogyoku and ended the fight right there. Was he thinking of Ichigo long term?
The theory was that the hogyoku makes people's dreams come true. Aizens dream was to defeat the soul king but his dream switched when he really wanted an opponent to beat him in battle. That's why the seal worked when ichigo defeated him. If the used their bankais he would just get stronger.
Iirc aizen made his own hogyoku, the one where we see in gin’s backstory with rangiku, and it didn’t fully work but when kisuke made his it was stronger so aizen combined them and then fused with it so it’s still not an error.
Its aslo possible the hogyoku just wouldve remained uneffected, he uses bankai once for a single chapter in the manga, dont really know what it limits are.
Well given what ends up being made later in the series…Urahara’s bankai wouldn’t have been appropriate since it would’ve affected a wide field like Kyoraku’s or Shinji’s, hence why they don’t use them when allies are around. He even mentioned that to Chad when he asked for training before. Yoruichi, meh, she’s her own weird case, never seen any zanpakuto stuff from her so wouldn’t expect any here either. Isshin, we’ll be did just get his power back, maybe he wasn’t recovered or capable of unleashing his bankai just yet. Yeah lame excuses, but at least that’s how I rationalize Urahara not using his.
@@johnny-jp7gy Engetsu is probably some sort of fire based Bankai which probably carries the same consequences as Yamamoto's. He COULD but the real idea here is "Beat Aizen until seal triggers". Yoriuchi doesn't ever use her Shikai or Bankai so she's probably better off without it. Urahara's Bankai isn't just harmful here, it's also not effective. Not only does it not harm Aizen because the Hogyoku would just heal him, it also only hurts others if Aizen uses Kyoka Suigetsu on it.
If they had used bankai just for aizen to adapt to it, they would’ve been ultra screwed. You can’t just use your full power on aizen unless you completely destroy his entire being otherwise he’ll easily adapt
Kisuke’s Bankai isn’t much for fighting Yoruichi is more for hand to hand combat Isshin however could have used his until he got injured cause he can’t used it if he’s hurt to a certain point
@kageraion7090 kisukes isn't good for fighting? What part of being able to instantly heal, make yourself stronger, and disassemble your enemy to the point that even askin, who has a form of immortality, fears that it could bypass his immunity and kill him, says that it isn't good for fighting? As for the isshin statement, that's pulled from thin air. It's more likely due to him being weaker and not well adjusted to his powers after getting them back or that it's dangerous around others since he never used it against white as well. Yoruichi never used her full shunko powers either. The more likely answer is that kisuke felt that the priority was getting the hogyoku to reject him. So he needed a scheme to have him feel completely outclassed by ichigo who was only meant to be a plaything for aizen while destroying his sense of intellectual superiority by showing that he actually had a plan to defeat aizen that he concocted rather quickly
None of their Bankai are crowd friendly. It's meant for 1 on 1. Also could be all according to Kisukes plan. Because one has to take into account the ever evolving Hyogyoku.
Honestly it's stupid after all this time, Kubo wouldn't at least reveal what her Shikai or Bankai is. At the very least it could be a pair of brass knuckles or something since she's a martial artist. Just so much wasted opportunity.
@@EmptyMan000in a q and a kubo explained that Yoruichi doesn't like her shikai or bankai. They don't suit her fighting style and so she just does daily rituals to keep her zanpukto happy
This was an interesting battle of 4 of the strongest soul reaper captains going. It is a shame we didn't see Tessai get involved at some point. It would have been interesting to see Aizen against the strongest kido user in the series.
Michael sadly did a better job as Urahara over Doug (the actor in this scene). Also idk why they had to change it to seem like he laughed and yoruichi punched him for it when she punched him for being a pervert in the japanese version lol. Bleach still has one of the better subs out there, just wish some actors didn't leave/get fired. (like the original Kenpachi voice David Lodge)
Michael Lindsay retired from my understanding and Dough Erholtz was able to do a voice very similar to his so he was casted as Michael’s replacement. (Then Michael Lindsay sadly passed away a few years ago) David Lodge left the role of Kenpachi due to payment disagreement if I’m not wrong. So neither of them were fired, one retired and one left because of payment
@@Raion9813 Not payment it was a union thing. The TYBW recasting happened because the old actors stopped doing non unionised voice acting. VIZ isn't unionised.
I just realized they should have gone bankai since aizen wasn't using his powers... Another reason why I bleach makes no sense. There's so many fighting battles that are just left unanswered
It sometimes makes me wonder if Isshin can destroy a whole city sector with a flick of his finger what is his actual power is in bankai state from what evidences we have he can’t enter bankai while under heavily wounded meaning he would have to activate it right as the fight starts for us to see it Also I find it funny that a guy who literally hasn’t battled in 20 years goes to fight aizen (before he transforms) and ends up holding his own while legit everyone aside from genryusai and shinji and maybe Tōshirō (before Ichigo showed up) got folded/bamboozled when they tried to fight him because they ended up killing each other instead of him
I always figured he was just compressing a bunch of spirit energy into his finger and then releasing it. Sort of similar to his getsuga tensho, except ya know a million times weaker. Just compressing energy into his finger and then flicking it
@@paulcox2447 It’s a Hakuda technique called Oni Dekopin. (Dekopin is the act of flicking someone on the forehead. Oni Dekopin would translate to getting flicked by a Oni. Hince why the Technique hits so hard.) The practitioner concentrates a large amount of reiatsu into a single finger to “flick” the opponent. It also just caught Aizen off-guard. It did no damage to him. He was probably expecting Isshin to use his Zanpakutō, Getsuga Tenshō, or something involving Zanjutsu. He wasn’t expecting him to use Hakuda. I assume he also looked over at Isshin because he sensed him concentrating all that reiatsu into his finger and was curious.
@@linneausmsiska1184he fought both old man zangetsu and hollow ichigo before learning the final getsuga which means he used all that power to defeat aizen.
This is another banki thats dangerous but for a different reason kisuke banki is never seen it s deadly asf bro it destroys everything even kiske body but dont worry kisuke body is rebuilt again thats the 2nd part .
I'm not sure, because even so they didn't reveal their full strength and simply wore him down so that at the right moment Kisuke's trap that he left in the kido fight would work. So it was unlikely that he would have killed them all at once, because they were not fighting at full strength
Lol they're not even using their full power Urahara can par on Aizen's current strength, with his intellect it wont be easy for Aizen to bring him down and probably he cant.
@@animestudio333he meant when they were down Aizen could have killed them but didn’t 🤦🏽♂️ Aizen wasn’t really trying to kill anyone except from Yamamotto
The thing that made me sick in these fight are " WHY THE HELL NO BODY USED BANKAI?????" except yamamoto why the athers didnt this fight was serious and could end the soul society why nobody took it seriously
I hate the English dubs x.x I think it's due to having heard the original Japanese. The types of voices match the characters better in Japanese, and I think some of the ones in English are assigned to the wrong characters.
