My pops took a bungee cord to the eye back in the day and folded over his cornea, had to have his eye pulled out of its socket, a needle pushed into the cornea, and air pumped in to unfold his cornea. Hawker sounds like he should be in the clear! Your looking up/straight ahead, my pops wasn’t allowed too/was medically forced to sleep on a massage table or look down for 6months. He was also a certified pirate for a while
