We sat down with AJ Styles right before the WWE Live event in Glasgow and asked him a bunch of different questions. Here we talk to AJ about being at WrestleMania 33 when Undertaker retired. Styles talks about Taker's impact on WWE and his relationship with the Deadman.

willcant quickscope highly unlikely considering Taker just had his hip replacement surgery a couple of days ago. It would be pretty awful seeing Taker try to wrestle with a fake hip.

yeah he was in pretty bad shape. I mean everything that has a beginning has an end. I was in love with his character and later on with the person he is after listening to do many wrestlers saying that he was a cool cat. He will never and I mean eeeeevvvvèrrrrrr be replaced. Thank You Taker

No, Undertaker passed toe torch to Roman willingly. Vince originally planned to pass it to John Cena. Hence why AJ Styles says: "I respect that he did it his way."

I think it's Kevin Nash. Him and Taker used to ride together in the 90s, and Nash was in TNA in the 00s and has spoke very highly of AJ in his time there.

If these 2 motherfuckers got in the ring like 6 years ago it would have been one hell of a match. Only problem is that AJ is kind of a high flyer and that doesn't really work with Taker. Also can you imagine Taker taking the Styles Clash? A little awkward. HBK/Taker worked so well because obviously they're both fantastic but they also their moves interact well with one another if that makes any sense. HBK's moonsault and skin the cat into a Tombstone were genius, can't really do a 450 Splash into anything (except maybe a Last Ride which would be insane)

He may not be done but he should be. This year's WM match was mediocre at best, as much as I hate to say it. The storytelling can't save it from being a slow, tiring and downright sad botch fest. Roman botched the fucking Tombstone reversal, he hit Taker with like 5 Spears, just not good. I understand the story, it's supposed to that The Undertaker is on his last legs, but that story was done much better at WM27.
