Ajahn Brahmavamso - Nibbana(Nirvana) 

I'd love to hear him give this talk today (~15 years later) to see what changes he'd make and, more importantly perhaps, what does not change.

Renunciation of body and body-mind craving with five precepts, restraint of senses, letting go of future and past through mindfulness practice, five hindrances of body-mind fades into calm, quiet stillness, first and last awareness of breath, nimittas are sign of body-senses mindstream disappearing, increase of mental energy and appearence of brilliant mind, illumination, cessation of six consciousness, five aggregates, all sankharas, ten fetters, see deeply into selflessness, experience of emptiness freedom for a long time...sambodhi sukha..bliss of enlightenment

I love cessation. I see it in my self. I can't even identity with the one that awakens anymore. I let it all burn out.
