I'm not sure I'm gonna jump on Ajax this week but if I do I've been thinking about some weird Typhoid Mary -> Ajax -> Skaar combos. Just not sure exactly how i wanna make that work yet!
If you use spotlight caches, it's not a bad week. I don't own BRB, so it's tempting to use my keys. Ajax feels like he's gonna be mid this week, and then people are going to stop putting Luke Cage in their decks, and he's going to reveal his true potential.
Being 5/5 Ajax really wasn't that good. The average good 5-cost to look at here is Darkhawk / Devil Dino which often sits at 15 power. Devil Dino can do that quite easily with Coulson/Snowguard/Moongirl. Darkhawk can do the same with Korg + Rockslide. Ajax need to afflict 10 opponent cards to reach that point. That's not as easy as it sounds, because how many cards out are under opponent control. 5/7 is much more reasonable, as he needs to afflict just 8 cards. Also consider Ronan. He needs 2 power above Dino because Ronan power is controlled by your opponent. Same reasoning applies with Ajax.
The problem for me is to risk 3/4 keys on him doesn't seem worth it, so maybe he is a drop, but i will check how the week goes and maybe get him with tokens.
It was a drop for me until i saw STG Hela brew. Yo i been wanting to play Hela into Aireshem and this card may give me Hela back. I can't wait to test it out see what i can cook up.
