Col AJ Raina is simply brilliant! I love his in-depth and factual analysis. There are very few so called “experts” on J&K who know the ground situation well, most don’t even know the difference between Jammu and Kashmir provinces! And it is true, Kashmiris recognise other Kashmiris very well even without talking to them..! I have visited many places in India and Kashmiris always recognise me, a Kashmiri and come talking to me.

@DarTaffazulthat itself is factually incorrect. Can you trace your origins to the period before Islam. Kashmir belonged to the hindus and Buddhists. We have records of philosophies that were written in the sharada peeth. You can call yourself native but saying that Kashmir has nothing to do with Hinduism is factually incorrect. Infact Islam is the corruption imposed upon the original civilization of this place.

Maldives was islamic since many many centuries earlier. Arab traders spread islam via trade routs from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia. Islam spread in Maldives viavArab trade routes. In Kerala, Indonesia(which was hindu before islam, google Majapati empire), Malaysia same story but this did not happened in Buddhist Sri Lanka.. think. If u are neo Buddhist then islam can influence you. But it you have strong civilizational roots in Buddhist traditions like china, sri lanka, myanmar, you will fight islam even more brutally than present day hindus as u can see the way china, myanmar and Sri Lanka handled it's muslim question.

Thanks, JD & Sanjay ji for presenting a wonderful discussion on issues on Jammu & Kashmir. Insights provided by Col. Raina are mesmerizing. Much of the details were unknown. His books should be prescribed as extra reading material. Present LG seems to be fatigued. The Administrative System is still under control of Separatists. Col. Raina has hit the nail on the head by saying, Kashmir's problem is Islamic Jihaad. It's a long way to go. The present day Central Government is moving at a snail's speed. But at least they are doing something. Thanks once again for such an informative session 🙏👌
