We have the legal and moral authority of India 🇮🇳 for the betterment of our own citizens. Should have been done by 1960-70. It was the largess and charity and political incompetence of previous governments that they did not take this step earlier. Finally a good step in the right direction direction.

In January 2023 Pakistan was served a notice that within 90 days they should come for renegotiate the IWT, failing which India will take a unilateral decision.

Dams should be built over Sindhu, Chenab,Jhelum, Beas and Sutlej. All the barrages should be connected and water should flow up to Yamuna and Ganga connecting all the rivers from north to south to make all such river perennial.

If the Indus water treaty was signed was signed between pre-1971 Pakistan and India, then the treaty should be null and void because Pakistan that the treaty agreed no longer exists.
People in different states of India , must think that water is a gift of god ( like air ) , and so must sit and negotiate with neighbouring states to solve problems .

May be Every Hindu should visit Raghunath temple and it has the shrine to every God Rishi and character in our mythologies and all shrines paved with hundreds of saligramams with a request to the devotees not to step on them

Shri Iyer.. let me narrate an excerpt from my family history of the Ravi On September 15, 1947, my father made his way across the old Ravi bridge to Dera Baba Nanak. Their journey had taken them through Narowal, where the town’s heavy clay soil had been ploughed into a thick, wet mire. This made it difficult for refugees to pass, and many had their daughters wives possessions taken by devout Muslims who would emerge like vampires from the buildings lining the refugee path. A mere four miles from the old Ravi Bridge, the refugees spent the night in the fields of a village named Chandowal Kalan. As they prepared to leave at the break of dawn, they were confronted with the sight of over 800 Sikhs and Hindus who had been killed. Bodies lay all over, in ponds and sugar cane fields. Bodies of many men lay devoid of heads.. MY old man was in his twenties then... so much for the Ravi.. Ravi was so close and yet so far for many
another thing Shri Iyer.. the convoy was escorted out of Narowal by about 50 soldiers of the Madras Regiment ..(I am sure you can verify this from the records of the Madras Regiment of British India.)They had spread themselves along the convoy of refugees. Everytime if any of the soldiers would see an attack they would fire in the air and the attackers would once again disappear into the buildings that ran along the way out.. Once a mile out of Naraowal and only a few miles away from the old Ravi Bridge, the unit of soldiers moved back up the convoy of refugees still coming out
Some progress on the exploring tourist potential on Jammu side. India Hikes has a Pir Panjal lakes trek now. At the request of Jammu govt., India Hikes team did the exploration and created this trek. India should use all the leverage it has!!

Now Pakistan will bank on China to stop the Brahmaputra river. It has already started building massive dams in China. It has already suffered floods due to this. India must prepare ro face this eventuality.
Even the Indus water treaty shouldn't be honored by India anymore. We need to ensure that only the least amount of water gets into that failed islamic state.

The pipes are to be electric heat traced and insulated. Canadians have done this through out the country . Guys there is technology to solve these issues. Form a team to address it.
Brahmaputra river originates from China but the thing is that Brahmaputra gets almost 80% of its water from eastern Himalayas, all of which lie in Arunachal Pradesh--So yeah, China can't do anything about Brahmaputra.

This was a long Political issue, project constructing infrastructure was delibeberately ignored. Reason best known the ruling party of that time. Negligence on our part was benefiting Pakistan and depriving farmers on Indian side. Thanks to present government for doing Justice, thought too late.
