i work in ems and one of the ambulances we have has an ecoboost in it......i also have a 79 notch (factory 5.0)......after feeling the power that ecoboost had a couple years back I thought of doing this project to my mustang.....im very happy you are continuing this project and I will continue to follow it
@@damonrice8469 Yessir I do talk fast and make more than a few mistakes, easy to do on camera so would not suprise me. Appreciate the compliment brother!
Congrats Mike and Wife on the new car! You got a varn full of ponies! Which one to drive? 2 more and u can have one for each workday of the week! Sweet!
Call liberty, quoted 1k to build my T5. Promotion in Florida is a great place also. I went to a tkx trans. Making just over 400 wheel, more growth in the future. Great videos
@@86foureyefreak22 I tell you what feller, a Promotion Beefed up T5 is the tits!! I bought their new Cryo treated gearset T5 for like $2600 shipped to me in MS. It's in my 80 351w powered coupe and it's held up great!! It's rated at 500 horsepower. The great thing is, I didn't have to change shit. Took out my stock wore out T5 and bolted this bitch in!!
Oh man lol A lot. If I really got serious Id run the tubular core supprt, and front bumper. Id love to find aluminum front and rear bumpers. Mine are both steel.
Awesome stuff man. Been daily driving my 2.3l 91 fox with AJE k-member for a few months now. All else is stock. I'm curious as to the reason you went with that version of the Sn95 spindle. wouldn't the 96-04 eliminate the need for a bumpsteer kit? Right now I am trying to figure out which I will go with myself.
Right on man! you rockin a stock 2.3 or an ecoboost 2.3? The 96-94 does have the drop "arm" for the tierods but it also increases wheel track a tiny bit width which I didn't want. My brakes increases it a bit and I just didnt want too much poke up front.
@@HOUSEOFDULA wow I can't believe I never saw your reply. I apologize for that haha. she's a stock 2.3. saving up to go ecoboost 2.3 or go crazy and attempt 3.5 ecoboost. I am having an issue with the bushings on the lower control arms. on installation everything fit beautifully but it seems the front on both sides is crushing the front bushing yet sliding off the back of the bushing if I made that make sense. going to try to contact AJE and hope to figure this out since it's still the daily.
Lol right on man! Come on by if your in Texas. Man...Yes, no, maybe lol. I have ideas...wont be anything standard, but its alittle early to nail the look. I think black wheels with the avalanche gray Im painting will do the trick, but also thinking a bronze wheel. I also want something modern sizes but retro looking like a fan blade, or turbo or even a late 70's slotted wheel
YES. I beat the hell out of the shock tower with hammer and torch lol its snug but fits now. The 79 shock tower was never designed for anything that large.
@@HOUSEOFDULAI saw recently someone elongate the mounting holes for the booster and then loosen the pedal assembly bolts to allow the booster to slide in without having to massage the strut tower at all.
