They mentioned the only reason they didn't release it is because it didn't fit with their emotions and the album theme, and that it was supposed to be a happier song. Either way they will release it and I am excited for it.

AJR, They thought the song was too full of excitement and happiness and they planned it right after their dad died, so they decided to release it when they feel better again. They couldn't add it because The Maybe Man is about sad stuff that happens in 2023.

coming back from months ago this song is not Track 13, or what they have planned for Track 13. Busy Business was in competition of making it into the album as well as Inertia. We still don't know what Track 13 is as of now, but hopefully we'll get news soon.
