Very nice to see that they did those with DCS. Wonder is that the "pro" version that also National Guard in US is using for A-10´s. The software is actually free, but the planes and hardware ofc pays some hundered euros before go. Well one can these days get cheap hotas for 150~euros -> ~200 e with pedals. DCS Viggen mod about 39-59 euros. One can ofc play that also 2d, and most do, but of some head track device is nice. Though for instance I just flew viggen ag missions just by using my thumb to change view and rotatio of the stick. Ofc thats not the way to go in realistic battle scene, but it goes when learning the viggen systems. I was surprised how easy and compact Attack model of viggen is. I mean user interface. Viggen was also one of the first, if not first fighter which had a flight computer. In Air to ground model I was amazed how accurate things are, and how easy they are made to use. It is quite different from what I have used to (hornet) ofc, but i like how that whole machine works like a clock which you just first have to tune. In many cases I fly mouth open and wonder "how the heck did they pull this one off in late 60´s. Truly amazing machine. In DCS the flight model I cannot say anything as havent flown IRL viggen but it feels nice. One can really feel the "heavyness" and huge power of that machine. Actually after hornet it was learning just not to rip my wings off just by kicking the pedal to the medal littlebit :D Usually stats broaching aft and kaboom. :D
