I've never had a flu shot and never had the flu in my 70 years on earth. Haven't even had a cold in 30 years. Nothing beats a healthy strong immune system. For me it's well worth the effort to keep it strong.

Had a Fime import saiga. After I replaced the factory piston disk thing with a American one it worked OK. Sold it. I thought it would be useful but it's just a novelty. It's terrible for bird hunting, that's all a shotgun is really good for. You can only shoot 2 3/4" shells. No 3" or 3.5" magnum. 870 super magnum is a better shotgun.

My nephew is a gunsmith and one night we were shooting tracer rounds with a few AR15 platform rifles. He had a malfunction to feed so he tried to clear it but it was jammed in a bad way. He decided to place the muzzle of the rifle on top of his right boot right above his toes while the rest of us stood around him with lights so he could see what he was doing. He got the stuck round out and it dropped to the ground then he pulled the bolt back to feed a new round into the chamber while the muzzle was still on top of his boot. As soon as he let the bolt go the rifle slammed fired all of us just thought he blew a hole thru his foot when it fired. He threw the weapon to the side while taking several fast steps backwards by then we grab him and pushed him to the ground on his back thinking the worst and getting him to a hospital pronto. We removed his boot to see how bad his foot was and he in a unsure voice said "I think I had my toes curled back" Sure enough the bullet missed his toes and foot but the shockwave from the muzzle blast stung his foot so bad he thought the bullet hit his foot. If he hadn't curled those toes back when he chambered that round he would have lost some toes. Even being a well trained and experienced shooter plus a gunsmith sometimes you can let your guard down momentarily on gun safety and have tragic outcomes. Be safe when handling firearms folks! That's pretty much a buy order from Taofledermaus😉 Nice boot. Did NOT expect the results. Buckshot is pretty hefty. And some people do mic-drops. Mrs Survival Russia does the Mag drop.

The classic precision off-hand shooting stance, as compared to the modern combat stance. 😎 I was taught the raised elbow in USMC training, back in the '70s.

Hope you all feel better soon. Oddly, though, you don't need safety training here in the UK to get a shotgun certificate. I think that trigger finger discipline is the most important aspect for novices. Mind you I've known an old hand nearly blow his foot off when reloading because of lax technique.! And the number of times they'll turn around, gun up, to talk to someone is scary too.

Everyone in my family went through a recent spout of flu for two months on and off and very random who got it when. Luckily for some reason if i did get it I i felt very little. So despite the cold weather i have bin building new HF antenna towers for my yard to operate a little better at the lower freqencies. So much turmoil in the region around me socially and political to the point i cant even look at the news or media. I. Absolutely rejoice in a cup of coffee a cig and some good ole survival russia. Thanks bruv no worries on lack of videos but just know I appreciate every one you do.

Great clip Lars, safety boots will save you feet in most cases. Mrs SR taking up shooting? Don't tell me Boss is on his way out? That's the only reason for Mrs SR taking up the Shotgun. Unless you have been giving her too much cheek. LOL Take care of your Family Lars. Stay safe. 🧐

Great video Lars, thanks much. Are you able/allowed to have and use shotgun slugs in Russia? Just curious; it would really increase the utility of a shotgun. Also, make sure you plant those empties; maybe in spring there will be a Saiga tree growing!!

Of course we have slugs. We do have another AK which is not a shotgun. In Russia we can also buy suppressors without a 200$ tax stamp :)

Saiga 12 is an amazing shotgun. Not the best for hunting, but perfect to keep out unwanted pests from Your property or if You load it with slugs then its a good defence from agressive bears. The boots are ok. Perfect when working with a chainsaw after some shots of "Russian Standart" ;)

i don't think modern shoes should have any metal in them, but use composites for toe and instep reinforcement: the metal toe in cold conditions turns it into a refrigerator whereas composite is an insulator. I really notice it in old .mil leather boots with no insulation and cheap metal toe, but then they are more for show (parades, etc.) than for survival, etc.

Not to bad of form. The biggest thing I always see with new shooters. Is they tend to lean away from the direction of firing.

I will respectfully disagree :) Your position is much stronger if you squeeze your elbow tight to the rib cage. This position also protects the shoulder better against felt recoil.@@thomas_bahama

@@SurvivalRussia Yes it arrived almost one year to the day I placed the order. I didn't think it would ever get here (US) with the sanctions and forgot about it. When it did arrive it looked like it was shipped timely but just sat somewhere in the system for several months. I'm very happy with it!

Mr. Putin has been portrayed as being the devil himself, I watched the interview and was struck not only by his historical knowledge but his intelligence, civility, maturity, wit and humour. Would we only have half this man’s attributes in any of our village idiots. Shame on us for tolerating the buffoons that pass for our leaders. We the west were great because we embraced Christianity , that privilege has now passed to Russia, the next great civilization.

They always spin Russia and Putin as having bad intent. People were curious to hear the OTHER side of the story. The history was important especially.
