I found and bought one of these beautiful mags about a year ago. I couldn’t resist loading and using it once at the range lol. It didn’t hurt anything on the mag, just put a scratch in the polymer on one of the feed lips and took a little paint off the front and rear metal locking parts.
I got Bulgarian polymer mags from gun mag warehouse the ones that were like 13 dollars. They fit really good and just needed a light sanding on rear to fit.
The one thing that’s good about the American made is the warranty. You can run the shit out of them and still have the parts and armorer availability. I agree my Kr103 is def just for me to beat up and run round after round. It came with one of those Bulgarian style mags
The "AK" logo is the official brand of all official Kalashnikov Group rifles where as the ribbed mag "K" logo (you called it Adidas) was the logo used by Kalashnikov Concern before becoming the Kalashnikov Group (also used by KUSA today). I also believe the 10um is just labeling it as a 10 rounder because those mags typically are shipped with a mag limiter inside. The "CX" means blank firing for the CX blank firing line of AKs made by the Kalashnikov Group (Concern factory Izhmash) for civilian purchase like movie making. Funny thing is that the mag sizes do not change for blanks unlike some AR15 magazines so the rifle cartridges work just fine (I have a couple of 103 "AK" branded magazines). Edit: regarding the blanks, what meant by magazine size is on how long the inside dimensions are, such as a block towards the front to only accept blanks and prevent rifle rounds from being loaded, which is why in a Kalashnikov Media video the “SKh-AK103” jammed a few times (before the video was taken down by YT). Essentially it’s a marker or sorts like Magpul “300BLK” pmags, to prevent mixup. Those CX marked AK-103 magazine feed well with rifle rounds in my SGL.
@@Leman.Russ.6thLegion Just made an update to my original comment regarding the AK logo brand and the blank version of the 103 being the SKh-AK103. I mistakenly said the "AK" logo was a civilian line when it is all official AK based rifles and shotguns made by Kalashnikov Group. You can clearly see that on their official website.
I would say get 1 of each mag for your collection(what I did) yeah its booku money now, but it only goes up in value especially with the political climate and when they start telling the fairy tales of the old days when we could get these things....it's like talking about hoards of gold lol
I would like if PSA made a decent AK100 series in 5.56. That'd corner the market for cheap, available caliber, modernized AK, since who knows how long Dracos will be available or ammunition viable.
I've been trying to get my hands on some AK-103 mags for my Zenitco build wasr10 AKM. I have bakelites, surplus steel AK mags, Bulgarian circle 10 mags, Bulgarian slab side mags, but I really want to get some ak-103 mags, I don't give a fuck about price I just want some.
Ac unity has polymer ak103 style mags. They look the part but aren't made like the russain ones. I don't care tho i bought 10 if I neee something more durable I have a whole bunch of combloc steel magazines
I actually bought some russian AK-103 mags for my wasr with Zenitco and I use em I literally dropped one by accident I was like fuck, then I said oh well I have 3 more, and I got some Russian ak-12 mags that I put a pod arms follower in for my 5.56 AK I definitely don't give a shit about snob community I understand the rarity, but I use my bakelites too at the range, I just like to make the poor's jealous lol
Unfortunately now, no where. Maybe gunbroker. But I got these straight from russia. I have no idea what they are worth now. Ill look and see some more and update u
