Here is a first look at using Akai EWI4000s internal sounds with iRig thru Amplitude on iPad 2. The chords sound much better than on the vid. I was overdriving a bit and got some digital distortion. Yes, but not the same way as I'm using it in this video with the EWI4000s. (iPad2 or better needed). To use the effects of Amplitude (like the smart harmony) using the EWIUSB you will need the Audiobus App. This will let you play your instrument App (Thor, Sunrizer, SampleTank, etc) then route the audio thru Amplitude effects. You can then route it to Garage Band or Nano Studio (etc) to record it. I teach all this and more via Skype!

Hi Bernie, I'm watching this and other videos from you (They are very good, congrats!) and I have a simple question: you said that you are using the internal sound from your ewi 4000s, but I couldn't recognize it. What is the first sax that are using in this video? Thank you!

Jose Carlos Junqueira I forget the name of it. It is #54 on my EWI.
