great pre-digital/lcd cassette deck... no auto-reverse or search functions. it is 3 head though with solenoid controls and great sound for a cassette... i got one cheap in the 80's but it had a slight speed difference than all my other decks preventing me using it as a master deck. it's a big heavy deck and when i took the case off to check for any belt or wheel wear, i found it was packed with motors and tape mechanism. not the greatest to home service but sure good when it works well.... like most of my older hi-fi monitoring gear i sold it off at way less than the silly money some items are getting today... i sold this deck for $250 along with a Yamaha CA-2010 amp for $500 back in 2010... now they are worth 3 or 4 times more IF you can get someone to sell you either of them at a price worth owning one... i never thought i would prefer digital, but now it's all i use... and without the tape hiss and other associated cassette tape problems including cost of blanks and deteriorating media.
Great deck! i own one to in mint condition. the tape your playing isn't a proffesional tape, but your taste in music is great, APP fan forever! i wonder why the stop button doesn't light up when you push it
Music goes too slow and i hear lots of wow .. wow and flutter So unfortunately it doesn't sound very tight ,, which is a pitty because it's a pretty deck ..
Eee si prima c'era tutto, oggi non c'e' niente e' tutto schifo!!! Io conservo e uso ancora oggi le musicassette su piastre professionali,SONY, Hitachi, Yamaha, Aiwa. BEI RICORDI.
