Bolo, I highly appreciate the love and support from you. It really means a lot. Regardless were here pumping out content with what we love. Nothing but love and blessings to you and your family brother.. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
You make better MPC tutorials than Akai themselves! This one is super creative. I have a ton of guitar pedals and never thought to utilize them like this.
Fantastic, Malo! I’ve learned so much from you, my friend. You are sharing the powerful concepts that empower everyone watching. This topic, and how you presented it, is going to get put into play right off. I’m also going to bring WIDI into this equation. Have you done any of that?
Sounds great! I might have to look into to some of those pedals. I don't like the sound of the MPC reverbs and some of the other effects, so I assign the effects returns to separate outs, and without any plugins assigned to them. That way, the sends in my MPC X are sent to my old Boss RV70 reverb, Ensoniq DP/2, Yamaha reverb, Micromoog filter input etc.. Those are connected to a stereo line mixer which is sent through an Alctron MP73X2 (Neve preamp clone) and back into the MPC X via the 3&4 inputs. It really gives you great sound you can't get from the MPC alone. Like what you're doing here.
Oh man, thank you so much for taking the time and sharing those with us. I feel the same way. I’m not a big fan of the verb plug-in in the unit but it gets the job done.
@@malobeats Yeah, I remember comparing the MPC non-linear reverb to the one in my Boss RV70 from the 90s. There was a huge difference. The RV70 sounded so much better.
Thanks for this vid. It's alwys nteresting to see how we can use pedal, and you've got very surprising pedals. Hop you'll do this vid about your pedals. My favorite of your pedal is the Microcosm For me, I prefer doing music away from my computer. I've got a little Zoom audio interface I can use in USB compliant class to plug keyboard, mic, bass, guitar and other... I'm very happy with my little MPC one ! You're right, MPC allows us to go further. Imagination is the limit. Take care !
I had his video queued up for a few months already, but never launched it since it was pretty confusing even for me to look back at it. Lol this is for a very few crowd of people that are looking to do something similar to this. I appreciate you taking the time asking about this video. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
