@Nikoladin she's not slaving. if there's anyone who is a slave, its the new girl shimotsuki. akane simply realizes the importance of the sibyl system because their current society will fall apart without it. and she doesn't always follow sibyl, she questions its methods and points out its flaws.
@@dyinggirl she is curious and skeptical just like Socrates, who was executed for false accusations of indoctrinating corrupt ideas about God to the youth.
"independent woman" get out. She is a far greater character than every "independent woman" character you apply this term to. This term comes from woke western (primarily american) ideology and authors. It is not to be applied to Akane Tsunemori.
@@nexor7809 then what should we call her then? Because what I saw from her is that she follows the rules but sometimes breaks but does it in a sneaky way where her crime coefficient doesn't go up.
@@javierpacheco8234 why should an "independent woman" be something celebrated? what about all the females that dont want to be independent, or those that want to live in a traditional relationship where the husband takes the leading role, takes care of finances, and provides? should these females not feel proud? should they be forced to change by society to be "independent" despite their own nature? i dislike how you applied this independent term to akane, even though it does describe her; i dont think an "independent woman" should be admired. She should be admired by her traits that do make her an independent woman amongst other things, but not the independence itself
@@nexor7809 well wouldn't you deciding your own decisions make you independent regardless of gender? And no being a woman who decided on being a housewife is not wrong, it's just traditional family roles of the past which limit a woman's freedom and there are some woman who like that, but in my eyes I see less freedom for a woman for the price of a man's desires and narcissism to be continued.
