Great adjustments done by CCS coaching team. Napansin nila na pinapadaan kay Jia yung mga palo ng akari, just to deflect the ball. They recognized it and double subs with MG worked. Meanwhile, putting faith in the opposite in set 2 made an instant impact on the defense of creamline, they were caught off guard at hindi nakapag adjust yung mga depensa sa likod. It's not a surprise that Akari knows the system plays of creamline since Debrito worked with them several times in the National Team. Alam niya tendencies ng players. And he was able to stop Tots Carlos. Nahirapan mag palit sa transition si tots and jema between opp and open, it was very obvious sa frames in set 2 and 3. Overall it was a mind game for both coaching teams and CCS had it better than Akari.

If coach De Brito uses Dindin as first 6 ang dami sanang team ang mahihirapan kaso binangko almost there games. Ngayon lang sya binagyan nang mahabang playing time. Dindin did good in this game, tho, I miss her quick attacks, short and long slide and running hit. Nisperos-Manabat- Genesis trio is a nice combi, palit coach lang who has a saktong program and training for the trio. Also, very evident yung kaba sa knila kahit during lamang sila.

I like the Jia-Kyle juxtaposition in setting. It reminds me of team USA when they had setters Alicia Glass and Courtney Thompson. The 2 US setters would always discuss and Courtney is like the wilder, out of pocket setter. Her sets are more aggressive and risque. It served the purpose of - if they were behind, they can inch their way up to tie or even win the game. If they were in the lead, it’s to accelerate the closing of the set. Courtney would usually enter with opposite hitter Fawcett and they, on the average, would rack up 5 points before they are subbed out again.
