The mic mod is amazing and im glad you attempted it..The internal mic works pretty good actually..compared to other brands and even other akasos..this one aint bad at all..thanks! You should make these and sell them
It has been a few years since I made this video. If I remember correctly, I made my own adapter. I cut the akaso lav mic and soldered a 3.5mm jack to it. That let me plug in whatever mic I wanted.
@@WalaKamingTV-th2sw thank you, it was pretty delicate but got the job done. I really wish these action camera manufacturers would just use some kind of Open source or universal design, so modifications like this wouldn't be necessary.
