bro can you tell me what time you can get on akina with the civic eg6 because I just started asseto corsa 4 days ago and Im on a wheel with a time of 5:18 and I just curious how you do
My best is 5:14:303 and I cannot get any lower with your setup. I hold a record for a little while on one server until some guy did 5:12, although I have no idea if he cut corners a lot or not since the server do not have any penalty systems turned on. I'm trying to get under 5:13 with 7L of fuel but it seems impossible :
hey, can you make a video about how to get down this mountain with the stock ae86? i have no idea how you are supposed to get the car into rotation in all those hairpins. i mean some of them at least have an opposite direction corner right before the hairpin, so you can initial flicks nicely, but all those corners, where you can do nothing but trailbraking into them seem completely undrivable, because the slope of the hill makes it understeer so hard and it often seems like the sweet spot is neither in 1st nor in 2nd gear. it's super frustrating. i also tried the gutter technique and it's not hard to get into the gutter with a good angle, but i don't see how that is supposed to make me faster. if i try to do it fast it just makes half the car jump up, especially on corner exit. i need to see how it's done correctly before going on
@@Beatsbasteln if youre understeering then it's either too much speed or insufficient trailbraking, if you're talking about PK akina then some of the tight hairpins might allow you to drop to 1st gear for extra rotation, then shortshift to 2nd before exit i think, i havent driven the combo myself so not sure
@@dingo_ac yesterday I played a lot with the stock miata and noticed that in order to get the trailbraking into the hairpins right I got pretty consistent results by steering very slowly into the direction of the corner while shifting down to 2nd and then 1st. Before I tried steering more radically as some sort of flick attempt, but I think I overloaded the tires with that resulting in understeer. I haven't tested yet if this works with the stock 86 as well. I think it has less range in 1st, but I think it would help with the corner entry at least
I've only just started sim racing and irl I'm used to FWD cars so I deal with understeer more but wow, one thing I noticed here is that I'm throttling wrong in the corners,. I wasn't letting off and coming back on half way like you are, that's my biggest mistake lol
My best is a 5:15 and I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I can’t really seem to find any places to improve even though there obviously are some. Do you mind sharing the tune and maybe even give me some tips as to where my technique could be struggling? Maybe it’s just an experience thing though which i need to learn myself.
Here's the setup: acstuff.ru/s/Vlh27U As far as your driving goes it's hard to say anything specific without seeing, a lot of people tend to get stuck in the 5:14-5:16 range, i'd say it's probably an experience thing but also not driving on the limit at all times (braking, turn in, mid corner, exit). You can already see the lines i take through corners (nothing to see there really), so it's about commitment and aggression to push the car to it's limit.. if youre too harsh with the car though you'll quickly go over the limit and end up locking the brakes or spinning the wheels etc. At 5:15 pace most of the potential improvement is left up to the driver, I cant do much more for you here, just watch and learn I guess?
@@NeikoGarcia I think I just suck in most cars except for powerful V8 drag cars. I can control them in a touge much faster. But technically I'd prolly still be slow lol compared to someone else that was better. I have issues with sim cuz I can't feel what the car is doing, compared to real life
