Not bad not bad at all, A-... Shes pretty good looking and have pretty good voice. Her solo actually pretty good, would love to see her sing more solo.
First off, very catchy song. Good rapper and a good hook from Alyssa. However, the song is not communicating the correct message. To be a poj laib is a decision, not an inheritance. So judgement from others are fair game. This is not to say that if you live this life, you don't deserve respect. What it does mean is that actions have consequences. Taking the weekend off and working overtime on the weekend does not pay the same. So if you choose to live the young and free life early on. You can't expect to be valued the same as someone who chose to save themself for marriage. Having said that, a lot of these "poj laib" will still have decent guys chasing after them for attention. The problem is they see these guys as being beneath them. They will endlessly chase the bad boys until they are no longer appealing to boring guys. It is at this moment when this song comes to play.
His lyrics resonates 100% with the Hmong girl overseas, where passing judgements n traditional is still stronger currently n how a girl is supposed to behave. Here in the state it's different. I was born in the 80s in the US, back during those time if you were label "poj liaib", you were disrespect n ostracize. It's call the 1975 mindset. Nowadays in the US, Hmong 304 are normal, not uncommon. 😅😅😅😂😂😂
