How beautiful! I've looked at this at least once a day since I found it here. I happened to be reading the book "Lost Letters of Pergamum" & wondered if there was anything on the city on RU-vid. This just took my breath away. Thank you for posting it.

Hi Summer Xia, thanks for asking. - But sorry, I don't plan to sell the 3D models in the near future. I'm still (occasionally) working on the project and want to keep it private until I'm finished.

it's a bit late to find this video but liked it as a folk of Pergamon :) This should have been more popular or famous than Ephesus even if its lack of main ancient parts of the site. Hope some day it will get appreciated !

@Negreujluap Danke! Ich versuche, dieses Jahr noch eine Szene des Trajaneums fertigzustellen, wenn es die Zeit zulässt. Stimmt. Assos oder auch Priene hätte ich eigentlich lieber ausgewählt, weil sie nicht so sehr im Fokus stehen und die Gefahr parallel laufender Visualisierungsprojekte nicht so hoch wäre, wie jetzt bei Pergamon. Aber letztlich habe ich mich für Pergamon entschieden, weil die Grabungsergebnisse einfach viel besser dokumentiert und öffentlich zugänglich sind.

The flag is really there: www.google.de/maps/place/Bergama%2Fİzmir/@39.1268893,27.1708408,542m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x14b9f87a217c77d7:0x682b18b696cbe377 I think it is made of bright stones and put there by the Turkish military. Of course it wasn't there 2100 Years ago, but the symbol as such is very old and it is not clear, how it made it's way into the Turkish flag. For example here it is shown in association with Cybele, the ancient Anatolian mother goddess. www.fressnet.de/pics/zus/kybele.jpg So I thought I leave it there until I'm finished with the lower city which is still missing in the animation. A tribute to Turkey.
