I was an Erika supporter last year, but I agree with Deban - Aksel should automatically get to go this year. I'm rooting for the countries who are doing the right thing and are standing by last year's artists. Aksel for 2021 and hopefully Erika in 2022!!

Aksel does an excelent job on transmiting emotions without relaying on high notes or overwhelming visuals. I would not mind if Hurt wins the UMK:)

Deban is alive and back - I am soooooooooooooooo happy :) this makes my Eurovision season start :) 12 p from Vienna 4 u n ur reviews :) :) Aksel - Hurt - is so touching... we re living in such a "different" period... and sometimes.. 2 come down... we need such beautiful ballads - that dont completly kill us.... we all fell "hurt" like in this song... more or less.... but.. we ve to go on... , I didnt expect that this song is on a much higher level than his song from last year....

He's one of my favorite acts, didn't have the best song last year but still deserved to win, but this year he needs to win, a top class song from a future star, he's fantastic, would love to see him at esc

UMK this year has a brilliant selection and nearly everyone has another favourite. So it's really hard to predict who's gonna win, but Aksel is defenetly in my Top 3

Its a decent song and is sung with such delicate emotion, although personally I could almost imagine it being sung by James Arthur with his distinct gritty vocal that really amplifies the emotional aspect of his music, adding pain and depth to it. I find the song itsself doesn't really go anywhere after a while as it repeats itself quite a bit and doesn't build, which is a shame. Glad Aksel is back to battle his way again though...hes clearly a great vocalist. He just deserves something better.

This song had the same effect on me as looking back in the sense that at first listen I thought it was nothing that remarkable but 10min later I found myself having the melody stuck in my head over and over again and both songs grew on me quickly. So there is definitely quality and memorability in his songs and he does put a lot of genuine feelings in the songs so that is another plus. Now I do prefer 2 other songs in the selection but I would not be mad at all if Aksel wins UMK again.

The issue is that if it went to Eurovision the public would hear it once and it is not that instant - just like blackbird

Agree with you 100% on the song. Such an improvement on looking back for me. There's more depth and it's more impactful emotionally. I do kind of agree that they should have internally selected him. Its going to be tough going up against the other entries this year. Its a really strong competition.

For Aksel to win,need him to make him sad before he performs, and then the emotions on stage will be very sincere.) And then he will get 1 place from the jury and 3 place from the viewers (it seems that last year almost was the case 🤔) + he must use the popularity points he received in 2020 and then he will win again.)😊

A sucker for “sad” songs myself, Aksel has brought IT two years in a row. Both are emotionally raw. Like Deban said, if he presented this to UMK, he should have been selected internally.

This reaction is me 100%. I absolutely love Hurt, the lyrics are so emotional and he does such a great job at showing that emotion, I would be very very happy if he won again. It's what he deserved anyway.

I think it's a good song. It doesnt really need a wow factor yk? The melodies and the lyrics are really good. Dunno if it will work for eurovision, but aksel is really coming in strong
