If they choose to, they probably can recreate that water/rain effect on stage without using actual water. Should also be scalable from smaller stage to a larger one.
This is good note to Sweden, same time Loreen just laying on stage keeping roof up and wins Eurovision with that. Same time we dance with demons and water is raining all over us. Now i just figured it out. I don't want this to be mean or provoking comment. 😅 This song can fit perfectly to Swedens Juryvision 💪💪😁
Those metal parts remind me of some of the songs by Nightwish and other progressive / symphonic metal groups. Which leads to some kind of a cross-over song again: it is pop, it is rock, it is metal and those metallish parts are something that got me hooked. I am not so sure about the chorus although it is catchy, but the song has some neat parts lyrically. I would not hail it to ESC quite yet, but a good start. And actually, those break downs could remind you of Voyager's Promise from last year. I digged that song, it was in my top three, so...
Ooh yeah the heavy parts do feel a bit like Voyager! I also really liked that song. Funny you say Nightwish since some people were speculating they could have been competing.
@@espotpod I think that speculation started when it was announced one of the UMK participants will be a band that tours the world. I know Nightwish tours around, but not so sure about Cyan Kicks. 🙂
@@tommilaitinen5555 I told my metalhead intern at work that I might get to see Nightwish and he thought that was awesome. Had to break the news that it won't actually be them 😅
@@espotpod Sorry to hear you only get to see Cyan Kicks... 🙂 This has a bit of the melodic, symphonic edge, but Nightwish would have been something... Maybe they are too big for ESC now. Over 20 years ago they gave it a shot, but were too weird for ESC. Maybe? 🙂

I seriously suspect they will be able to do whatever they want! And then some. 😃 In Malmö, Sweden - all this can be different. The Swedes may see to it - especially if they fear that we will really win it this time! 😁😎 My first reaction, seeing this band, was "Nope. This is not for me." For visuals only. Absolutely judging the book by its cover. Shame on me. I hereby confess a complete about-face, a real turncoat maneuver. After only two listenings I have grown to really like this song! This is not an easy song. Its intricasies only open with a few listens. I like the verse for its overall dark, ominous tone and the very variable presentation. Then the chorus, that is more like a danceable part, nice beat and huge singing! So, best of both worlds! Like having a cake *and* eating it! 😆 The video props.. Well -- they definitely have watched the movie "Alien", eh? Just clicked the 100'th Like. 😉 Can't wait for your next reaction videos. (Already subbed with your first Finland-themed videos about a year ago.)
